The Norwegian Church Aid said in a statement on Thursday that the decision was taken after attacks against its medical convoys.

The group added that many refugees living in camps under its control were killed by the rebels.

Meanwhile, well-informed Sudanese sources said an organization helping rebel movements in African countries had offered assistance to the Darfur rebels.

The organization had offered assistance over the past two month to the rebel Sudan Liberation Movement and the Justice and Equality Movement in Darfur, the sources added.

The organization is also preparing unfounded reports on the humanitarian situation in the troubled region.
