Ethiopian foreign minister to visit Russia

MOSCOW, Jan 10, 2004 (ITAR-TASS) — Ethiopian Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin will make a working visit to Russia from 12-14 January, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced today.

“Talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and meetings with representatives of a number of Russian ministries and organizations,” are included in the visit schedule.

“The forthcoming visit by the Ethiopian minister has been organized to help the future development of political cooperation between Russian and Ethiopia and the enhancement of cooperation in the economic trade and other sectors,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
