At a workshop organised to launch the process, the chairman of the Higher Committee for Disarmament, Demobilisation and Integration of ex-fighters (HCDDI), Sulaf Aldin Salih said the government was charting out a plan to integrate all fighters and war-affected people, including women and children, into their ethnic communities and social life as a whole.

“Our committee has already contacted international organizations, the ministry of Higher Education ministry, the departments of Statistics and Labour as well as SPLM/A for data and guidance,” Salih said.
