Sudanese opposition NDA’s political committee to meet next week
KHARTOUM, Mar 9, 2005 (Sudan Tribune) — The opposition National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has announced that the political committee of the NDA will meet next week, under the leadership of the deputy head of the NDA Lt- Gen Abdelrahman Said
In a press statement to the Sudanese Media Center, the spokesman for the opposition NDA in Khartoum, Ali Ahmad al-Sayid, said that the committee of 10 members would consider the creation of a military committee and another one to oversee the implementation of the final agreement between the government and the opposition NDA.
Al-Sayid said the expected presence of the NDA chairmain Mohamed Osman Al-Mirghani in Cairo would result in extensive meetings with the Egyptian government in order to advance the final agreement with the government of Sudan.
