18th Arab summit in Khartoum 2006

CAIRO, Mar 21, 2005 (Xinhua) — The 18th Arab summit will be held in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum on March 16, 2006, Egypt’s official MENA news agency learnt Monday.

According to the Arab League charter, Djibouti was supposed to chair the next session after Algeria.

But as agreed between Sudan and Djibouti, the 18th session will be held in Khartoum, MENA reported.
