Sudan still pursuing issue of factory bombing by US, foreign minister

In commemoration of the 5th anniversary of Al-Shifa pharmaceutical bombing in Sudan, the External Relations Ministry has prepared a comprehensive programme which would be participated by Sudanese embassies.
In a statement to Sudan TV, External Relations Minister Dr Mustafa Uthman Isma’il affirmed that the issue of Al-Shifa bombing was still alive and pending in the Security Council agenda.
Isma’il: “The 5th commemoration of Al-Shifa Pharmaceutical bombing by the US missiles is with us once again. In this regard, the External Relations Ministry would like to remind that this issue is still alive and is in the Security Council agenda. Sudan would continue demanding its right on this issue. In this regard, the External Relations Ministry, in remembrance of this anniversary, has prepared a comprehensive programme, involving the Sudanese embassies and regional organizations”.
Locally, a documentation book on this issue has also been published and several symposiums and speeches will be organized in coordination with the National Assembly, the lawyers union and various civil society organizations.
