Kiir also promoted the new deputies from the rank of Major General to the rank of Lieutenant General in a preceding presidential decree before their appointments were effected.

The five deputies appointed with effect from June 3, 2009 include Lt. General Obote Mamur, Deputy Chief of General Staff for Operations, Lt. Gen. Biar Atem Ajang, Deputy Chief of General Staff for Logistics, Lt. Gen. Pieng Deng Kuol, Deputy Chief of General Staff for Administration, Lt. Gen. George Athor Deng, Deputy Chief of General Staff for Political and Moral Orientation, and Lt. Gen. Ayuen Alier, Deputy Chief of General Staff for Training.

In a separate decree, the SPLA Commander-in-Chief also appointed Lt. Gen. Bior Ajang Dut for a long-time vacant post of Undersecretary in the Ministry for SPLA Affairs. Dut is a career soldier and the former Deputy Chief of General Staff for Logistics.

    Dear President His Ex,

Thanks mr President for your tremendous appointments for the positions of all the Deputies, simply because without them nothing for sure the chief of staff can do alone, they will be joining hands together though it matter of exchanging position and ranks still they will be motivate by new appointment and new position to work hard for the betterment of our army.moreover, you need to inform them strictly before they go to their new positions to make sure they leave the same spirit and modelity behind and let them employ different new innovated mecahanism so that they improve the standard of living of army and not misplay the chances for their own benefits.

Lets stop giving hating criticism fellows Junubin!
when we start judging leaders according to there geographical background, South Sudan will always remain as it was twenty years ago. Leaders should be judge according to their capability in performing the assigned task.

Thank you so much Mr Lokang. Your comment is for the wiseman. Generally, sudan need such a comment that can build up sudanese people instead of comment that can tear people apart. Do not give up commencing wisely as you do. Critism to our leaders make no sense. We need to think wise before commencing.

      Dear All,
I hope those who are complaining tend not to think well because a position should not be given to people according to geographical background but somebody abling should take it sure.
Look! Bor community are very few and they have taken alot of positions compared to Northern Bahr el Ghazal which lacks even single position in military and we are still appreciating changes. We want changes rather than division of portfolios of which you are expecting rrom Kiir.

Look here! Hoth Mai is the leading person and he is from Nuer community, does Nuer community want to have all deputies of various operation to come out from the same Nuer communities? Tell!!!

      Shame on you. Stop complaining.

            Dear puok Nyang .
you will keep doubting but GOSS is fairly represented with people from all part of southern sudan and beyond .i don’t know how you will appoint ministers if you were to put on Mr president ’s shoes .let ’s be patriotic guys and work on things that bring us togather and not those that divide us . why should you guys be happy when for instance a person from your tribe is promoted to a higher position when some of them aren’t capable for certain position. as a true citizens let ’s not invest in today ’s leadership base on trbal line but let believe in a leadership that bring all southerner togather as brothers and that look into the right of everybody.
            thanks all

              Mr. Puok

If you don’t know anything and you want to be known through implicit ways, Please there is a way to do that because in this World, you can be known either by doing GOOD things or BAD Things.

Please if you just want to be popular on this website on the two ways above then tell me.

Coming to answer your silly question, simply during the War, those fought the enemy, majority of them were Dinka tribes and the most officers in the SPLA/M were also Dinkas as you said.

Mark you my brother, the War has not yet finished and the enemy is still at the corner.

The War which has remained, to make you clear, is economic and Political War if you don’t know.

Now it is time for unity to face our enemy, but not to criticize our Dear President Salva Kiir Maryardit who is at the right track.

              Long Live South Sudan
              Long Live H.E The President

            Simon Pouk,

To answer your question Pouk, SPLA is for any one who sweat for it during the strugle. It is not for Dinkas alone ! those generals deserve the right to be appointed even though they come from one tribe, because their personalities and love for the south Sudan during the 22 years old war cann’t deny them such a positions. My advice to you, should another war erupt in sudan, rush and be the first shoot a bullet and you will get a rank in the SPLA Affairs with out a doubt .

General James Hoth will be just a poster in that office, just like Mr. Deng Alor in Ministry of foreign affairs, the only thing is that he will used falsely by the Dinka controlled GoSS to corrupt SPLA!! He can do alot but who will let him to do that!!!!

People let us stop looking at regional areas and look at Southern Sudan as whole. The geographical site can not be a factor, if we are really looking for the better country then we must give positions according to qualification regardless of population. Also, Mr. Kiir Mayardiit knows the better leaders those who will bring change in his administration. Now I believe the five mention deputies appointees are the perfect leaders match in southern Sudan military wings, they were the formal heroes of the SPLA/SPLM.Whether you will like or not, I think Bor Community should deserve the pride of their sons’s leadership role in government.

    Reflection letter
The Anywuak not allows to having any kind of position in their own towns like any other southern Sudanese hold the position in their own town? Especially Akobo Anywuak!
I am very disappointed of the characteristics or anthropocentric system made by dinka and nuer leadership over SPLA/M and deputies nominees executives. We all fought the war. SPLA/M will not disqualify Anywuak people not to gain any position in south Sudan for what ever reason they think. The Islamic rules in Sudan against the southerner are not to distracted the Anywuak only not to get any position within the governing and others position in the south; and nuer and dinka try to invade the Anywuak towns and land in tactics and systematic. Why not allows Akobo Anywuak to be a commissioner in Akobo? The Anywuak daughters, son, elders and youth still scatter since with in corner in the Sudan try to go back to their own town but never existing because of the characteristics and influence leadership of SPLA/M. If we want to do the same violence always nuer and murle does then there should be no peace in south Sudan.
I read new commissioner appointed by Jongli governor kuol manyang approved by the south Sudan president Mr. Silva Kiir that appoint another nuer to be commissioner in Akobo while many educate Anywuak and member of SPLA served in different direction in Sudan. Is that not a distraction? This kind of iniquity system of SpLA/m against southerner tribes will reflect injustice to many southerners. I am so disappointed because since the conference of peace agreement (CPA) many Anywuak been attacking by neighbor’s wood Lou nuer and murle tribes perpendicularly nothing were investigate in Akobo county. Very recently three days a go June 1, 2009, three Anywuak been attack and killed on their way pitcher water at the Akobo river bank, no body know who attack them; their names are1. Kwuach Aqwuang Umot, 2. Umot Umot and 3.the son of Chief Uqwui Adding are all natives of dikoli village. But if the SPLA would bring Anywuak official in any other ways then we should have know what going on.
The son of Akobo watching every single day’s about the distraction going on in their own town.
Response & concerning please any time any where, james.akodhi.ugutta@gmail.com

      James Adhoki,

Come out from your hidding and face the Nuer in your land aggressively. It’s said that if you need peace, then prepare for war.I think Akobo was known to Anywak for many centures but what the Nuer are doing there nobody like it.

On the otherhand, If you or your uncle want to become a commissionr in Akobo, then I can advice you to ask all your people to come back home from whereever they are and I can assure you that GOSS has big eyes to see who would stand up to oppress the young community of Anywak.

      God bless you

James Adhok and friend John Chol

You guys are big day dreamers, there is no day under the sun that you are going to see Nuer out of Akobo. It’s now a Nuer home added to countless others that were conquered during the centuries of Naath conquest. However, as a peace loving community, the Anuak who now form 00.3% of the Akobo county have been allow a right to have their political and other issues respected just as it would to any other citizen.

Though,I would advise both of you, especially the coward John Chol that the ’aggressiveness’ that you advise your friend to be his weapon to resolve his so-called land problem, can not work this time.Remember,it’s this aggressiveness which led to the occupation of Akobo in the past. Thus,John Chol,I would like to add that, you are a useless disciple of a dead ideology. No force ever matrialize against the Nuer.

As for the appointment of the five SPLA dupties, there is no doubt that tribal favors have been involved. So friends, you have no curtain that covers the truth,it’s just a naked one exposed so that everyone might see it.

Good day to the Dinka rule,I wish them the best of luck in their broad day light plundering of South’s resources.May they last in their rubbery business.

James Chol, I also want to say my pleasure and God be with you.
For What ever name Adhok, I got no thank because you supporting the principle that even not works for all southern Sudanese people.
To reply to your commitment, in a little brief story you probably hard it if claim you think Mr. President Silva kiir & governor kol manyang has proper principle of positioning for all southern tribes, why the Akobo Anywuak to secure their town as also done in bor and other county in the south? The story said “Shepherd who cried wolf once too often. When the got tired of watching the sheep would cry, “wolf” He enjoyed watching other shepherds rush to his defense. He always laughed with causes or pleasure when he told them that he had fooled sometime act them, but he tied trick once too often. A wolf finally did come. The boy called loudly for help, but the other shepherds, not wishing to be fooled again did not come. This is not my favor story I wish to give to simple individual or someone who really don’t have common sense. Mr. Adhok, do or have you hard what tears European nation a part & the causes of 1914 war or first world war? If you don’t know don’t give wrong views of SPLA/M principle going on right know is satisfies all southerner. European has got many people with difference languages, culture, and tradition. They also explain war differently. Do SPLA/M leading southern natives that kind of frame? The meaning of SPLA/M is not dinka and Lou nuer. You guy probably want to change the title of SPLA/M in difference meaning as many southerner now inside or Diaspora are concern and south Sudan threaten by perpetrate rules dinka, murle, and Lou nuer.
You also mention of dream. Now do you have support consists that how Mr. president Silva kiir, and kol manyang dream determine positioning to disqualify Akobo Anywuak in tactic and many southern Sudanese, however the Anywuak towns and villages been occupied by Lou nuer attacking killing, murdered numerous back yard daily life neither commissioner nor governor to resolve that? Again please your commitment is not satisfies my claim on new nominees deputies made by kol and proven by president kiir. I am assuming to hear from them and SPLA/M cabinet rather or instead you. Don’t put yourself imposition block my claim.
I have more experiencing on this topic. To remind you some assumption, Islam ideology law pose on black Sudanese who lost more than one million life within twenty- twenty- two year, if that is why now the SPLA/m as well supporting Omar el basher not to go to international court crimes, shame of SPLA/m rules. That means the SPLA/M fought for positioning not for freedom of black Sudanese. Friend, this claim will exist only if the central SPLA/M principle would reply my claim. Be aware of claim my friend. There is more than one claim people always do. These are fact, value and policy. So among base on your commitment which one you prefer to reply to me? Let me remain you again; the principle of SPLA/M ratified diagnosis from 1983- current will remain active to many southern who have eyewitnesses; but now there are no popular supporting ideas because of dinka and Lou nuer mentality over leadership and omnipotence they had. I still have proposition to my claim of Akobo Anywuak. Please don’t sound like that kind of shepherd. If many of southerner want to sound like what in your min or brain then the history of war between black Sudanese and nomadic Arab settler will referral to what we called “slavery and civil war created in America will happening in south Sudan as well” So the dinka and lou nuer mentality will causes and lead the majority of SPLA/M think difference views the ways many politician see. I always support freedom of right not freedom of anthropocentric.
Census: The percentage of Anywuak base of Adhok estimate 00.3%. If this is truth and correct estimate, can you prove that because many Anywuak around Sudan ignore out side one Sudanese will satisfy with your estimate? 100% I disagree with you neither many Anywuak watched over census during companion a year from today. My view on that strategies Anywuak percentage made by SPLA/M and you is fragment. Adhok I don’t know if this is your really names; I believed you come from background of experiencing of cheating on any other ethics groups however mislead others to tell fragmentize story. In the other word, you may have lack of public interest freedom. Don’t be lies on Anywuak census. For real even within Sudan only the percentage of Anywuak is never being less than million. Your logic estimate percentage please let it be in your logic experience however, but we Anywuak know that not in records of SPLA/M if they do considered that census, it is way of cheating as well because Anywuak themselves never come across to conclude their percentage those around Sudan and Diaspora that will accept and aware of. Your estimate 00.3% to all Anywuak around the world is liar. I know you guy been doing that often or for many years meeting journalist from difference where in Anywuak public eye in order to prove your claim in Anywuak town that they are minority, that is the way of invade villages and land. We know that. But be advising the game of census principle on Anywuak it is not you who started it, but we know who start and give wrong estimate of our percentage. For your inconvenience I hit to waste my brainstorm with your commitment; however you are more welcome to write but if I don’t hear from office of SPLA/M executives then there is no need to listen from your commitment. Again I have no thank to your commitment.

      Hi James
You are normally right but wait for a few years.
Akobo is not yours. Leave Akaobo, do you nkow Nuer can take even Pochalla b/c Anyuak did nothing in the movement. Let me give you a story from one of Anyuak in the SPLA. During 1987 one Anyuaa was wounded at the Jekow front. His colleages were pulling him not to be killed by Arabs. They took him safely. He told his commrades" Why do we fight for such a little land of Jekow? If possible we have to start it in the city. If is it for cultivating, grassing or any, there is a fresh land in Anyuaa area w/c may give all those services rather than killing each other." Who were with Late Simon Mori Didimo? But we will forgive you and we will take Gambella leadreship next election.
