Sudan launches new website for president Bashir

October 20, 2009 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudanese government launched a multi-language personal website for president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir this week, according to state media.

Sudan official news agency (SUNA) reported that minister for media and communications Al-Zahawi Ibrahim Malik met with the team responsible for creating and maintaining the website headed by Hashim Ali Salem described as the chairman of the board of directors for the portal.

SUNA said that Malik discussed the “arrangements and necessary mechanisms relating to launching the website” and called for “intensive media campaign” to advertise Bashir’s page.

Salem on his end said that the website is updated daily noting that the information contained in media messages “requires a high degree of professionalism”.

The site administrator stressed the importance of comprehensive coverage and providing resources.

Bashir is the ruling National Congress Party (NCP) candidate for the April 2010 presidential elections. He is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for war crimes he allegedly orchestrated in Sudan’s western region of Darfur.

Ever since the ICC arrest warrant, an intensive media campaign has been launched for the Sudanese head of state with billboards and pictures have been erected throughout the country bearing messages of support against the Hague tribunal.

Last year Sudanese officials have also pledged a massive cyber campaign to rally support for Bashir worldwide including gathering millions signatures for a petition against the indictment.

The site can be accessed at http://www.albashir.sd/

We should have his daily dairy to write about the people he has killed in South Sudan and Darfur in his new website.

  • 21 October 2009 07:30, by general Achinbenchien

He has diapher hat, seeing the world in as thick as coca cola glass bottom, his skin cover with coffin (Jallabiya) his eyes closed and saying the world with his teeth, is the president of the republic of Sudan. What a curse on Sudanese people. By his look or mental capability, the guy is indeed an ugly midget who terrorized Sudanese people for far too long. This time, he is wanted in Hague. He think law has short hands just as he does, but he will be apprehended soon. Now, he stole Sudanese money and built himself a website when people in Darfur squeeze watermelon to get water. What a shame!

what a complexity! Bashir want rescue from ICC warrant of arrest from the Sudanese, yet Sudanese want a lot from Bashir
and when you turn around his indictment is because of his suppression of the wants and needs-rights ,expectations of the Sudanese. Now what is the sense here?

Simply give the Sudanese their wants and needs, show interest and commitment in fulfilling these-no lies.

Thus, you might survive at least .....

Launching of a multi-language personal website for the Sudanese Terorist Omer Hassan Al-Bashir is a waste of resources and will not help the guy escape from the ICC.

Regading elections, Al Bashir can rig elections and claim winning them because he still has his SAF and Janjaweed militias in Darfur. No body will waste his/her precious time on watching the man’s photos.

        Unpportunitely Giving the name.

It seem like the man is going to leave us soon; by giving him the "Name". It did hit my heart when i was watching the woman in the videas tried to give the names for Garang; while he was still alive. That was in Ngok visited at Agok. In some traditional giving the name, while someone is still alive. It is so bad to. The name has strong influence, accept if the person create the business for herself/ himself and give the name.
        Thank you

There is no one who is against you but you against your-self. My view as a citizen of Sudan is, You are a shame to yourself, to your arab race, to your Islamic religion and to the country Sudan. Being inddicted and labelled by the court as wanted criminal is not a laughing matter or an easy thing.

Maybe you as a muslim arab man will think that this court is a western imperialist christian court so I do not have to honor what it says or avail myself to it. You have the right to say so, but remember you are not the first president in the world to be inddicted by this court. You yourself can study its record or ask one of your graduates to do so on your behave.Slobadon Milosevic and Charles Taylor are christians not muslims and they were sitting presidents and were inddicted like you and where are their futures?

In the long run my president, you are my president because I’m a Sudanese, you will be aprehended or arrested by this court and brought to trial no doubt about that. My advice to you and your inner circle is, keep the CPA and make peace in Darfur and go to the Hague to face your charges as a man. By doing this you will be unique among Sudan leaders. You will be remembered as the leader who waged war, brought peace and other good things like John Garang. But if you are captured like Saddam Hussein or other arabs or Africans leaders like Thabo Mbeki who were removed from power by legal means your history will not be that good.

you are an old man over 60 years and have ruled the country so what remains for you is history. How will you be remembered when you are long dead like Jafaar M. Numeiry?
Will you be remembered as coward criminal president who wrestles with the international justice system or peace maker in your country?
You did not start the war in Sudan only you inherited the war, you fought it and when you saw no way out, you made peace and now stand accused and inddicted by a court. Maybe you as a muslim Afro-arab you do not know what does it means. But is not going to go away from your head or on your historical records. Do not run for office any more but go to the court to clear your name since you have a case to about the war in Sudan. You can actually be aquitted as you did not start the war in 1983 but just inherited like any other president in the world Barack Obama included.

Please, please, do yourself and a country a favor by going to the Hague.

    • 21 October 2009 11:44, by Ajinhliak kepiiny

To whom is Bashir laughing with really ?
Did they inherit this shame with riek Teny ?
I warn you not to take criminal web side for reason !

      • 21 October 2009 14:55, by James Tut Biel

Dear brother who gave this comment, I think this guy does not understand what he is talking about. These are people who just says anything on their lips without judging first. Now if this guy is not mud, what combine the launching of website for Bashir and Riek Teny as he put it.

Let me tell poeople something about this man they are joking with here. He is a gift from God and no matter whether people run away from him, they will still come back to him. Otherwise he has the authority to rule if we want it done through whatever means.

And to all my friends who comments against the great killer Bashir, I wellcome your comments and keep warning him before he get caught by ICC. This website will not work.

        james Tut.

Bashir Omar Hassen, your website should be should be where by you can confest to the Darfurans on all what you did to them, including south sudaneses whom you excerise all your mighty power in killing them, but by 2011 they are very sure that they are going to get their independent.

  • 21 October 2009 15:20, by BEN-ALEX PIRAMOE

dear sudanese a traitor has nothing to deal with the websites in sudan because he has refuse first to represent our country in the summit when he was call to uganda so let him go to hell with his website because there will be no body be interested in his web other wise he will end up with many dirty replies
so first before he open up a wedsite let him first appear to answer the ICC.

  • 21 October 2009 15:53, by Ahmed Binouf

Wow, what a bizarre illegal kind of president’s attitude!!!! Shame on you and shame on those who encouraged you to put your ugly killer face online for your victims to suffer more. A killer online, on TV, on the Radio and everywhere they go.
Technically, its look just like you, poor design with no basic knowledge of websites design. The problem is how much money has been spent on such stupid idea? Who is going to maintain it, how much they will get and why you should have a website any way?
I hope we see you online sometimes, or if you are busy killing people, please post your email there so we can send you email sometimes and you can read them in between while you are sitting on a “Dead Body” of a Sudanese victim, it doesn’t matter if your hands are bloody we can still chat.
Shame on you Kizan, the money you spent on putting together this trash could be used for those who have never seen food for days now.

  • 21 October 2009 18:55, by Time1

The only way this website can be beneficial is if Omer Bashir come directly online and answer questions from concerned citizens about the war,the peace and the services int he country, let him not hide fromt he citizens, he has to interact directly from his palace/resident in khartoum with the sudanese citizens. So let Omer Bashir come online and interact and answer questions, emails and comments directly from the sudanese citizensthe question should not be answered by somebody else, otherwise this website is just a public relations to decorate Bashirs deformed face.
