County security safety first “said county official

June 18, 2012 (RUMBEK) – The Commissioner of Rumbek North (Maper) county of Lakes state Stephen Mathiang Deng have announced his county planning to quell down insecurity along his county with other neighboring states. Rumbek North is one of the remote county of Lakes state located in distance of 75 miles away from Rumbek, the capital of Lakes state.

Mathiang said his county will deal with insecurity along the borders as well internal dispute among youth must to be cemented before South Sudan celebrate it first anniversary of July 9 independent day. The county will reconcile it traditional chiefs with her communities’ members who were at odd during the former commissioner Isaac Mayek Noah alleged of disorder.

“Now county security first before everything” he affirmed.

Rumbek North is the most county suffering due to lack of hospital and clean drinking water. The county requires basic attention on health, education and so more much more to change people attitude to urban life “said commissioner Mathiang. Women completely suffer for domestic abuse and rate for girl child education is being hampered by lack of education awareness as well culture dominated the live-hood of the community in the villages.

Cattle thieve between counties of Lakes state has become common games, time for such game is now getting over “those who put their life for cattle thief are wasting their time; they better seek another mothed to life”. I will deal to capture them and put them in jail, if you are a youth from Rumbek East or Wulu, you will be capture and send back to your county for final judgment after you suffer in my hand “he noted.

“I will connect state education ministry to enlighten public over the importance of education – the culture of suppression must to be stop and good culture of democracy to be offer chance to change the image of being behind the education stage” said Mathiang.

Lakes state governor Chol Tong Mayay in 2010 Sudan general elections promise that his term will develops rural areas as well improvement of education in all capacities.

He noted that his management at this present will serve public interest to provide health, education as well security and agriculture to become main focus before next 2015 election.
