SPLM political advisor arrives in Khartoum

KHARTOUM, Apr 29, 2005 (Sudan Tribune) — Sudan People’s Liberation Movement’s Political Advisor Mansour Khalid arrived in the country this evening to take part in the National Constitutional Review Commission which will begin its talks tomorrow.

According to the official Sudan News Agency Mansour affirmed, to the press at the airport, the importance of all political forces participating in the drafting of the constitution.

Mansur said “I am very happy to be here to take part in this important event and the National Constitutional Review Commission. The constitution is the basis which the transitional period will focus on and we hope it to be the right path not only to bring about stability in the country but also to bring peace and unity based on new foundations.”
