Egyptian investment minister to visit Sudan Monday
KHARTOUM, July 31, 2005 (Sudan Tribune) — The Egyptian minister of investment Mahmoud Safwat Mahyieldin is due to arrive in Khartoum Monday as the head of a delegation which includes Egyptian businessmen and investors to participate in the inauguration of the Sudanese-Egyptian Bank and to hold talks on ways to consolidate the cooperation between Sudan and Egypt in the investment field.
In a press statement to Suna, the general director of the Sudanese-Egyptian Bank said that the permitted capital ceiling of the bank is six billion Sudanese dinars (24,455,857 US dollars).
He said that establishment of the bank is aimed at consolidating the economic relations between Sudan and Egypt.
