Sudanese and russian businessmen sign agreement

Sept 5, 2005 (Khartoum) — An agreement has been signed between the Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of The Russian Federation, forming a joint council of businessmen in the two countries.
This happened during the Fourth Russian-Arab Businessmen Forum, currently being held in Moscow.
A delegation of Sudanese businessmen from various sectors are participating in the forum.
The joint council aims at boosting economic and commercial relations and exchanging visits and information between Sudan and Russia, besides benefiting from the economic and commercial capabilities and advanced technology of Russia in the various fields, as well as opening new markets for the Sudanese products in general and agricultural ones in particular in Russia.
