US to boost its diplomatic presence in Khartoum

KHARTOUM, Dec 02, 2003 — The Sudanese embassy in Washington has approved a request by the US State Department to grant entry visas to 12 US diplomats as additional staff for the US embassy in Khartoum.

Well informed sources have told Al-Ra’y al-Amm that this move was part of the US intention to restructure the embassy’s organization by increasing the number of its staff.
