Dec 5, 2006 — Janjaweed rampaged Alfashir cattle market in broad day light, December 3th and 4th, 06. Their evil action was rehearsed only a week ago at Meilit market, 55k north of Elfashir. This time, the Janjaweed were no longer a primitive force on horses and camels. Rather they were on 4W vehicles and wearing official government security uniforms. The government is now boastful of the use of Janjaweed in its war of terror in Darfur.
The National Redemption Front (NRF) salutes members of the SLM who rushed to protect their innocent relatives. SLM (Minnawi faction) refused to emulate AU forces and remain passive spectators. Rather, they courageously engaged the Janjaweed looters in a fire for fire combat leading to casualties on both sides. Now that the SLM-Minnawi faction has witnessed the true face of the so-called DPA, it must take correct action, change course and join the NRF. Abuja is dead and the struggle must be unified against the evil power of Khartoum.
The NRF warns the Khartoum government that its patience is running short. It may soon be forced to take its war into the cities and protect innocent Darfur citizens.
