How many Juba declarations do SSDF need to sign?

March 30, 2007 — I am not in person being offensive on the existence of the South Sudan Democratic Force as a political party, but asking people running its services to put foreword a brief statement outlining the party objectives and the strategy of achieving a just peace through the process of the right of self-determination. Party officials said clearly that they pick their chairperson as anti Garang after the ill-fate crash when the party denounced the chairmanship last year . I don’t really understand whether these people knows the political struggle of South Sudan which can not in any way go to the individual basis which I believed to be preconceived notion.
I was delighted to have met Guandit (Paulino Matip) in Equatoria inn in Juba few hours after the Juba declaration was put as binding and legal agreement (9/1/06) that pave the way forward on the merging of the political parties in achieving the national issue of librating South from marginalisation. Guadit who attended the ceremony with hundred of his officers had got the ability to help in pursuing the SPLM objectives on the status of being Southerners, which he recapitulate to be part of the struggle and asking exculpation, yes he is a nationalist no matter what had happened in the past because the main aim in Southern Sudan is to make constant result on the task that can’t let the generation suffer from this epidemic. My wishes of congratulating him couldn’t go through for he only speak Nuer but I could say (Gua long Guandit) because he deserved that gratitude as he turn to centre of attention to Southern Sudan vision after many years of being in North.
The leftovers SSDF officers and members are in performances, screening very dirty politics in Diaspora and at home. I am authentically chatting to them as comrade and Southern Sudan National who’s his rights had been left out and prosecuted as an substitute of enjoying them that forced me as a young boy to scuttle off for internal disarticulation many years ago before I started to live an expatriate. I had read many articles in the web and the magazine across the world, SSDF associates and members are only considering their comfortable life in Khartoum and in Western Countries but supporting atrocities to continue back at home. I am neither in person talking not at the tribal basis nor in representation of any political party but bringing the inspiration into the reality table of discussion on how do we the youth can configure out our own future.
Upper Nile Youth Association which was founded in Nairobi in 2003 which I took part to advocate for the peace. As one among the delegates appointed to attend the Upper Nile first congress conference in Panyagoor, we were told by three different chiefs that, “Nuer is being roll into the eyes of people as ghastly but all these atrocities are being made by the educated politicians; who are claiming the status of being neglected by their political opponents in SPLM. We have no choice but to join them because their descriptions are believed by the illiterates who took part to depend the tribe from such negligent” said chief.
If people like Dr Dichan had been with SSDF, which I believed to be a philosophy Doctor and they are still fluctuating on the political pronouncement of the party, the controversial status of SSDF is in many aspect is the gangrenous wound of the Southern Sudan because Southern Sudanese in the party have gone astray the way in making the political intentions all the way through but they are being face off by the tribal stigmatisation that can’t even help their relatives back at home. It is our probability as Southern Sudanese to realise what the world is doing in recognition of the Human rights.
South-South dialogue was designed to let Southerners exonerate themselves and forget what they have done in the times of yore so that they can move further on to solve their national problem and to accomplish the resolution on the marginalisation to create the pathway of freedom which we all considered necessary to enjoy as the reward.
SSDF representation in the Southern Sudan Parliament was a fundamental role according to my own deliberation as this was a good possibility for the political members to enlighten Southern Sudanese on the subject of their politics and aims. 9 months in Juba but I haven’t see any Member of Parliament crusading the word of being a political party that can make any optional change. Practising politics through media is total a major destruction to the alleged unity/secession of South as speculated.
Southern Sudanese are scrutinising you to tell them what you really mean in the struggle to the right of Self-Determination which is the only trail Southern Sudanese are too anxious to see. I am not challenging them for being critics but disapproving their decision of inciting members to support tribal dissimilarity that can’t make our nation to build the required status of being a Nation that can protect its citizens and safeguard the truthfulness of it sovereignty.
I am very contented to have seen Southern Sudanese across the world to have developed a strategically the concept on information dissemination. Remember this word very clear people come and go and they left the name of Southern Sudan as it is, calling Dinka, Nuer, Azande, Bari and Anyuak but they still have the pathway called Southern Sudan or Sudan the way you called it.
How many times will the people of Southern Sudan shed blood because of political misunderstanding? How many times will the incapable politician stop dragging innocent civilians to the coast of tribal war that take the lives of the uninformed (children and women)? Are we making the Arabs North to verify the word of Southerners being incapable in the round table conference? Are we taking the acquired western education to disfigure the future of the innocent back at home because we live in luxurious houses in the west and Khartoum?
An extreme research show that Southern Sudan politician and respected figures in other political parties are totally taking the advantage of collaborating with North just because they need more time to let the world hear what are their intentions and we need to learn from the past in order to tackle the present. Abdulla Chuol, Sultan Gatwich Dual, Gai Tout, Akuot Atem, Abdelbagi Ayii Akol, Dr Lam, Dr Riek, Dr Wal Duany and other politician are simply the example. The project of South-South dialogue convenes in order to call for the forgiveness of all so that people can forge ahead with the future of liberation. It is discovered by the above people that there was no need of tribal killing as the intention was a national issues that need the attention of every citizens.
Dr Riek and Guandit Matip are currently working critically helping the interest of Southerners which is a very good idea for the future of Southern Sudan. Future of Southern Sudan is about “compromise and tolerance but not about leadership” said; H.E Wani Igga. The remaining SSDF members need another declaration to acquire senior position in GOSS which is a bad believe to exist in Southern Sudan.
The only reward to the fallen innocent lives, heroes and heroine is to pursue CPA articles step by step and put them in practice where ever we are in order to deicide our future. Youth please take the CPA and discussion how the progress will be achieved in Southern Sudan. We were betrayed in 1947 by both colonies but will that happen again? Other political parties who wish to play such games learn the lesson and come out to tell us the people of Southern Sudan your influences of success in 2011 otherwise let SPLM accomplish the task and it will be handed over to you. I am not a supporter of totalitarian parties which SPLM is not yet but remember that right of self-determination is not only a political issue but need attention of every one.
