Sudan Peace: UN and USA have to be blamed by this time

By Akol Bak Ajakdit

February 22, 2008 — Hereafter, it is sensible and observable to all citizens of the Sudan, IGAD, UN, U.S.A., International Community, and Europeans Union that the “Comprehensive Peace Agreement,” is now undergoing to be collapse. It is due to El Bashir’s lack of an accurate implementation and commitment to what expected from him to do, as well as an utmost deed in profoundly method in order to minimize and shrivel the country’s crisis. Nowadays, the United States of America communally with United Nations are fighting to bring the liberty, utopia environment toward every human kind, and hunt for techniques of well-being to every human beings, as well as to overcome the terrorisms and nuclear weapons for mass destructions. All these goals are to be accomplishing throughout fighting terrorisms, solving values conflict like the one in Sudan, and establishment of a democratic paradigm positions onto worldwide.

In fact, the United Nations is the highest ruling organization and authority that intended to provide mechanism tactic, and help find keys for long-lasting peace in global/terrestrial and to a regional clashes. On the other hand, it should have to miniature the major problems through putting a lot of pressure onto the factor that dwelt on crisis. Notwithstanding, it should always set a closer scrutinize to any cases, or issues that have resulted a social problems, catastrophe, and threat on human beings’ well-being around the world. In the Sudan, citizens are suffering in outstanding and outrageous standard because of the unlimited radical Islamic ruling, terrorist acts, and fascism governmental structural; but the U.S.A. and United Nations have done nothing to help those innocent citizens to take legal action and procedures to an end.

Moreover, the United States of America and United Nations have been though that the Sudan’s case is a minor issue and domestic problem comparing to other countries that they have most recently fought to bring a freedom, for instance, Iraqi and Afghanistan. Nevertheless, the innocence citizens of the Sudan will put keenly blames on the United Nations and United States of America by this time; thus, if the CPA completely underwent into disintegration. For the Americans, fighting the terrorisms should have started from the Sudan, then to where it is now existed. However, they have disregarded the Sudan’s crisis, and put it aside to be unnecessary issue as well as domestic matter. For that reason, of course, Omar El Bashir has a right to turn his deaf ears and blind eyes on the CPA manuscripts to extend his leadership ever. Furthermore, Sudan is the main trunk, apparatus, and root of the terrorism and El Qaeda amid in Africa.

Back to the time when President Bush has started war on terrorists, we were expected and reverie, or assumed that the Sudan would be the third target country on top list of the terrorists’ countries after Iraqi war; however, our expectation and hypothesis from Bush administration has become short, and an unproductive assumption. In this matter, people do not know until now how long will it take for UN, U.S.A., and OAU mutually to solve the Darfur’s crisis, which is the most horrible and paramount humanitarian tragedy in the world. In fact, reasonable things and further tactics are most in need to be done in order to oust and end that dominance Islamic regime of El Bashir to safe and enhance the lives of million black African citizens of the Sudan by this period.

In addition, pleading and decrying over El Bashir’s authority by the UN, U.S.A., and International Community to do framework and action towards peace, has done nothing at all this time. It needs legal action, further ways of solving the value conflict, as well as coerciveness approach and other possibilities menace alongside onto El Bashir’s leadership. Omar El Bashir’s authority had impeded the democracy sorting, and caused the profoundly humanitarian crisis in the country. Despite the fact, the U.S. troops have served in Korea, Southeast Asia, the Dominican Republic, Lebanon, Panama, Kosovo, Haiti, the Persian Gulf, Somalia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, East Timor, Grenada Afghanistan and Iraqi since World War 2nd till now. It used to do these because to bring permanent peace and safe lives of those innocent citizens, and mount an exceptional environmental for human beings’ lives as a matter of good authority.

Under this security systematic, people of the Sudan generally have rights for the safety measurement beneath an American and United Nations umbrella to maintain lives of Sudanese people like happened to other countries, they rescued past and previously. In a year, Bush’s administration will be end leaving Sudanese people behind in grievous context of crisis and terrorist acts, while he had accumulated to improve Iraqi and Afghanistan people’s lives, and installed democracy category structural. Herein, the question to UN and United States is that: Do Sudanese people are not eligible to be deserve and shielded, too from whatever circumstances that challenge them, for instance, insecurity and devil ruling that hampered rational ruling and tragedies that cost million lives? In viewpoint, the Sudanese people have a sense of compassionate, thrilled, and put their hope on the Bush administration that their lives will be safe thereafter the CPA about three years ago. Now, they have become disappointed and lose their morality, and waiting for the next President who will take a set in the White House.

In due course, the Sudanese problems have excluded transparent by Bush administration, since he confirmed and vowed to fight the terrorists, and against those leaders who avoid taking thoroughfare and legal procedures to a democratic status of well-being and platforms. In fact, El Bashir will never bring a peace to Sudan because of his militocracy and theocracy-structuring regime. In this view on El Bashir’s leadership, CPA will take another twenty-one years similar to the period that the SPLA/M had spent fighting. By the same time, Darfur crisis will extend and hang about for years, too. In conclusion, UN, U.S.A., OAU, and other loving peace countries have to take a right assessment on El Bashir’s regime; despite on how they should help protect Darfurians, CPA, and entirely marginalized Sudanese people who are unwell because of inappropriate government, and long-lasting Islamic-northern dominance that stands on every citizen’s neck.
