A delegation of up to 27 ministers, governors and officials is accompanying him, mostly SPLM members but also including two or three National Congress Party members.

Six officials arrived earlier this week, nine arrived Saturday and eleven are expected to arrive with Kiir.

President Kiir and President George W. Bush will meet on Monday morning to discuss Darfur, the International Criminal Court, and implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA). It is their third time meeting.

The Southern Sudan president will also meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, who is travelling to Washington, as well as aides of U.S. President-elect Barack Obama.

The First Vice President met with Sudanese President Omer al-Bashir on Friday to discuss the issues that he intends to raise in Washington. Al-Bashir, who is indicted by the International Criminal Court prosecutor on ten counts of war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity, wanted to discuss Kiir’s agenda, like CPA implementation, the Darfur crisis and the criminal charges.

Bush’s successor, former Senator Obama of Illinois, has voiced harsh criticism of Al-Bashir and his aides threatened military action against the regime over the Darfur conflict, which at present has displaced 2.7 million people, according to the United Nations.

    H.E Salva Kiir

We support you and support implementation of the CPA. So please, go to Washington, meet with MR, president George W. Bush, MR, Ban Ki Moon UN Secretary of the UN and Mr, president elect B. Obama and discuss with them implementation of the CPA as well as Darfur issue. Al Bashir ICC case is too much. Think about it but it is not most important than CPA and Darfur crisis. God bless you and bless America

H.E Salva Kiir Mayardit, we wish you successfully to travel to Washington. Hoping you to indicate the problems of border demarcations especially those area which war resulted during dry season between cattle keepers of Masieryia and SPLA soldiers along river kiir in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State/Aweil. If there is also Implementation of CPA,then Oil point should also be demarcated and Abyei area before its option of inhabitants, to either go to north or south sudan.

What do you mean? Go back to pre-K to learn more if you are not mature enough. We are not here to give lessons to people like you.

Surely may be we can appreciate the visit of Mr. Kiir for safe journey to and fro, but not for the good thing he thought or planned to go and present to the US Administrtaion, Ban ki-mon, Obama and the rest; but let us just pray heartily to God who facilitates every opportunity we’ve been going through successfully as Southerners. Simply because Mr.President has been visiting so many places but nothing yield out of these frequent visits. Just remind me if there is anyone of his advisors who fed the media one time since the government was formed three years back, only the “Supreme Nature” is the mentor and caretaker. And the worse part of all is the looming corruption which is spread like cholera, this extremely demoralized those who have interest to help the devastating life in the South which is being fuelled by the NCP to deteriorate absolutely. Look emphasis on policy implementation is the key ingredient of good policy and for a policy to be implemented successfully such as:
    • Start off with a clear definition of the problem to be addressed
    • Identify the relevant factors in the environment that have an influence on the policy as well as the identification of other role-players in this field
    • Identify policy options
    • Determine the consequences of each option, including the financial and organisational consequences
    • Evaluate each option and its consequences and potential outcomes
    • Recommend a particular option.

Through such above approach at least there must be a change and channel directing us for better posterity.

Say all these for the love of the God and for the South at large.

    thanks
