Lakes ex-minister wins SPLM state strategy post

May 9, 2009 (AWEIL) – A former Lakes state minister, Philip Marol
Mading, was voted Wednesday into power again as chairperson of the
SPLM state electoral strategy committee ahead of campaign
preparations.
Mading, the state’s former minister of Finance, Trade and Industry was
dismissed in 2008 by the southern region’s President Salva Kiir
Mayardit, after a spate of political feuding between a faction in the
state parliament and another aligned with the executive.
In a meeting held in Rumbek, Philip Marol Mading gained 17 votes,
overcoming challenges by acting Speaker Marik Nanga Marik who won 7
votes and Philip Kot Job won 5 votes.
Marol was elected despite being absent in Nairobi, where he is
residing with his family since his official removal last year.
However, one source indicated that in the aftermath of his victory,
other counties of Lakes state are spreading their rejection of Marol
to head the campaign.
The source said that Marol’s election was achieved by the same group
trying to reinstate him into his position as finance minister, an
effort rejected even by Governor Daniel Awet Akot during a compromise
to try to end the political turmoil last year.
“This is still a part of political turmoil of 2008 in which a
coalition of the executive and SPLM Lakes State Secretariat ousted
former speaker Isaiah Alier Machinkok; the same group has backed up
Marol to win the votes in an undemocratic election held locally at a
hotel instead of the SPLM party premises,” said an official SPLM
member. He concluded that SPLM would lose votes in Lakes state if the
decision is allowed to stand.
James Wani Igga, the head of the equivalent SPLM committee at the
level of the Government of Southern Sudan and Speaker of the South
Sudan Legislative Assembly, arrived to Lakes state on Tuesday and
launched a political rally in Rumbek Freedom Square before flying to
Northern Bahr El-Ghazal on Thursday for the same purpose.
Lakes State SPLM Secretary Samuel Mathiang Keer affirmed that the
party rally was attended by thousands of people and that James Wani
spoke well on achieving the promises of New Sudan.
“SPLM has already initiated door-to-door campaigns within the ten
states of Southern Sudan, aiming now toward South Kordofan and
Northern Sudanese states as well as Darfur,” said the SPLM official.

Retripted that we are lost potential member and son of the Lake State that line of political arena?
We need understand and accepts the situation disequated from those imitations routinely behaviours to avoid suffering isolation that we are labelled in.
Why our influences are not based on the lines of developmental or social consciences
On the political opinions, it could have revealed slight light of 20 years of hardship
Struggles, it would have makes tendency to respond in a certain manner that convey
Stimuli work hard to support the next generations.
If looked how Mr Marol had modified his ministry when was in the post and how smoother running of works is, you can understand that numerous developments are
Taking place, because when you start the office activities without pervious files available
It will not be easy it makes , one of the example as the parts of his achievement is , he had sent some of his workers for further studies ,some had finished and he would had
Sends more ,which a great works he has done ,no ministry had done that one, or is on process to make it attempted .have we understood that geting monthly salaries is not enough to be pride of it ? to Invested on people the youngers one the only way forwards .
We will still see it as simple and not importance because of being us, why we just only need money to be given to us this is where we can appreciate.
Therefore for the SPLM party to lunches it campaigns in Lakes States level ,we need a unique individuals ,they thinkers, who thinks more than one ,due to the technicality of the jobs itself , when you we take jobs we didn’t means prestigious but prestigious come when it’s well-done as per people wish and expectations .
I wish one day we will learned how to handles our own though toward the others and remembered how harden we had passed through until we are thinking of judging.
One strategy can make us to be wiser and associated to assist our leaders and leaders
To assist themselves and how to avoid scrambled unfair competitions, because it enhance divisions and divisions caused disintegrations paving the ways for the both
Groups to be too vulnerable in their political arena.
