RSF drone attack kills one in White Nile’s Tendalti

June 12, 2026 (TENDALTI) – Rapid Support Forces (RSF) drone strikes targeted the town of Tendalti in White Nile state on Thursday evening, destroying a fuel station and killing at least one worker.

The attack on Tendalti, located about 90 km west of Kosti and 230 km east of El Obeid, comes amid escalating drone warfare between the Sudanese army and the RSF in neighbouring North Kordofan.

The RSF has been attempting to cut off fuel supplies to El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan state, where the Sudanese army and allied forces maintain a major stronghold.

Local sources told Sudan Tribune that several RSF drones hit various targets in Tendalti on Thursday night, with one direct strike hitting a petrol station.

Video footage shared by activists on social media platforms showed heavy smoke and large flames engulfing the service station, leaving one worker dead and several others injured.

Meanwhile, the Sudanese Congress Party condemned the extensive use of drones by both warring parties in North Kordofan, stating that the escalation has severely heightened civilian suffering as the state turns into a fierce battleground.

In a statement, the party noted that RSF drones targeted the towns of El Obeid and Er Rahad on Wednesday and Thursday.

The statement added that army drones bombed areas in the Sodari locality of North Kordofan for the seventh consecutive day, including Wadi Al-Malik, Abu Zuaima, Al-Khashkhasha, Adid Raha, and Al-Baqriya, resulting in dozens of civilian casualties and widespread property destruction.
