USSP kicks off campaign in Western Equatoria State
February 18, 2010 (TAMBURA) – The United South Sudan Party (USSP) has started its elections campaign in Western Equatoria State for the upcoming election that will be held in April.
Mr. Mbugoniwia also visited Ngboko while he was in Source Yubu and held meetings with several people there. He proceeded to Bariguna this morning where he will be joined by one of his candidates Mr. Carmelo Sangu who is contesting in Ezo for SSLA.
Reliable sources in Ezo say Mr. Carmelo Sangu seems to be leading in the opinion poll.
In Tambura where he and his team have spent more than 5 days, Mr. Clement held several meetings with community leaders, Church leaders and local chiefs. He is scheduled to meet with the youth upon his return from Source Yubu and Bariguna.
In another development, sources close to the RCC (Roman Catholic Church) revealed that there will be special prayers on Sunday for peaceful campaign in the state.
Meanwhile, one MP who is believed to be one of the candidates Mr. Clement will be contesting against in the Tambura constituency is reported to have filed a complaint against Mr. Clement to the NEC saying that Mr. Clement is not fit to run for elections because he is living in UK or have spent many years abroad.
But according to the law, any son or daughter of South Sudan who has been living in exile has the right to return to his motherland and take part in the political development of the country.
General elections in Sudan are due in April, if held the elections shall be Sudan’s multiparty elections in 24 years.

This is the best thing happening, we need fresh people to stand up and open there eyes to see, this is real good for USSP Party I hope people in Western Equatorian should vote for this young man.
We see a lot from old people dude people but we see nothing but corruption, Stiup Party and crazy party in the Southern Sudan is SPLA since then they don’t know what is a development?
I hope one day this Dinka party will get lost so that people will start development in the country.

I am very much sure about that though I don’t know you physically;your names and words qualified you to be from Equatoria where people are money minded.Anyway,Dinkas are there to fight for you but remember….Enough is enough and we are going to,if you don’t open your ‘nyiin’ otherwise.
You support your men but bear in mind that SPLA/M has done something good for you Equatorians in Equatoria if you are not told by your illiterate people.I will teach you a lesson if you still keep on talking like that please.
