Saudi Arabia King meets Sudanese President?

JEDDAH, May 2, 2004 (KUNA) — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin ‏Abdulaziz received here Sunday Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Basheer. ‏

‏During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments at the Arab, ‏‏Islamic and international arenas particularly the Palestinian issue and the ‏‏developments in Iraq. ‏

Aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways of ‏‏their enhancement were also reviewed. ‏

‏Ambassador of Sudan here Othman Al-Dardiri told Kuna that Al-Basheer ‏‏briefed King Fahd on the latest Sudanese developments and the peace talks with ‏‏the Popular Movement for the liberation of Sudan.‏

‏The audience was attended by Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy ‏‏Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Saud bin Fahd ‏‏bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd ‏‏bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet Member and Chief of the Court of ‏‏Cabinet’s Presidency and a number of senior officials.‏

‏Bashir who is visiting here met earlier with Crown Prince Abdallah bin ‏‏Abdelaziz.
