African Development Bank to fund poverty alleviation project in Sudan
KHARTOUM, June 14, 2004 (SUNA) — The African Development Bank has decided to extend a sum of five million dollars to Sudan for the institutional support project for combating poverty.
A mission from the African Development Bank is to visit Sudan to discuss the project.
State Minister for Finance Abd-al-Mahdi said the project aims to boost the national capacities, effecting coordination between policies and implementing poverty alleviation programmes.
