Minister of information, Barnaba Marial Benjamin, said a committee is being established to attend March’s donor conference, which is being organised by the United States government.

“A plan is being developed to see that those ministries which have areas where the investors would invest can go”, Benjamin told reporters on Tuesday.

The minister of agriculture Betty Achan Ogwaro, minister of trade, commerce and investment Garang Diing Akuong, and minister of petroleum and mining Stephen Dhieu Dau, will all be part of the team.

The US ambassador to South Sudan, Susan Page, has held meetings with senior government officials during which she has appeared on state television talking discussing the upcoming conference.

“I came to the minister of cabinet affairs honorable Deng Alor Kuol to discuss bilateral issues with him and to brief him about the forthcoming donor conference in March in Washington. We also talked about [South Sudan’s expected] cabinet reshuffle”, Page said in a statement broad by South Sudan Television last week.
