Egypt, Sudan agree to enhance security cooperation
CAIRO, Feb 23, 2005 (MENA) — Egypt and Sudan have reached an agreement on enhancing bilateral security cooperation.
The agreement was reached at a meeting between Egyptian Minister of Interior Habib al-Adli and Sudanese Minister of State for Internal Affairs Ahmad Haroun, now visiting here.
Haroun leads a delegation of senior Sudanese police officers to attend the graduation ceremony of a number of Sudanese police cadets, who were receiving training courses at the Egyptian Interior Ministry police institutions.
The two ministers discussed a host of security issues of common interest.
