High ranking SPLM delegation visits China

KHARTOUM, March 18, 2005 (Sudan Tribune) — A high ranking SPLM delegation left for China on Wednesday, March 16 to hold talks on economic cooperation between the two parties.

The delegation includes SPLM chief commander Salva Kiir Mayardit, head of SPLM economic section Akwal Manak, chairman of the SPLM external relations Niyal Dheng and SPLM spokesmen Samson Kwaje and Pagan Amum.

Yaser Arman told the Sudanese Al-Sahafah that the delegation would hold talks with Chinese officials on China’s economic cooperation and assistance during the transitional period.
