7 killed in drone attacks on eastern Khartoum, al-Dabbah in Northern State
October 14, 2025 (KHARTOUM / AL-DABBAH) – Seven people were killed and several others injured in simultaneous drone attacks early Tuesday targeting the suburb of Ad Babiker, east of Khartoum, and the city of َAl-Dabbah in the Northern State.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) did not immediately claim responsibility for the simultaneous attacks.
In northern Sudan, drones attacked the city of Al-Dabbah, killing five people and injuring others at the College of Engineering, local authorities said in a press statement, blaming the RSF for the attack.
The targeted site in Al-Dabbah is near military positions, field sources told Sudan Tribune.
“The terrorist militia continues to target civilian objects,” said Mohamed Saber Kashkash, head of the security committee and executive director of Al-Dabbah locality. “Such terrorist crimes will not deter us from supporting the armed forces, but rather increase our strength and determination to uproot these militias that terrorize and target civilians and disregard international laws.”
In Ad Babiker, a suburb east of the capital Khartoum, four drones targeted residential homes at dawn, eyewitnesses told Sudan Tribune. The suburb is a base for the Sudan Shield Forces, led by Abu Aqla Kikel, a group allied with the Sudanese army.
The attack killed a doctor and one of his sons, and injured two of his other children, the witnesses added.
Witnesses also reported hearing explosions as suicide drones struck a house and a rest house belonging to a local resident.
