October 31, 2025 (KADUGLI) – Five people, all women and children, were killed on Friday in an attack by a strategic drone belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on a camp for displaced people in Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan state.

Local sources told Sudan Tribune that the drone bombed the Kalba displacement centre in Kadugli, resulting in the deaths of three children and two women and injuring four others. They were transferred to the city’s referral hospital amid calls for blood donations.

A government source in Kadugli confirmed that an RSF drone bombed the displacement camp with missiles, causing deaths and injuries.

The Kalba camp hosts dozens of families who fled the fighting in towns near Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan state.

The RSF has previously targeted army-controlled cities such as Sennar and Sinja in Sennar state, Al-Damazin in Blue Nile state, and Kenana in White Nile state, as well as the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, with loitering (suicide) and strategic drones.

The RSF drones have focused on power stations, Khartoum International Airport, and army headquarters in northern Omdurman.
