Indian firm keen on investing in Sudanese electricity sector

Khartoum, 19 March: Minister of Energy and Mining Dr Awad Ahmad al-Jaz on Monday [19 March] received a delegation of the Jackson Company, and the Sudanese Eathar Company. The Indian Jackson Company, one of the greatest Indian firms operating in electricity, showed a desire to invest in electricity.

Dr Al-Jaz wished the visiting delegation good stay in Sudan, saying investment is open to all investors without restrictions. The meeting was attended by the Director of the National Electricity Corporation, Makawwi Muhammad Awad.
