SPLM summons three high-ranking officials to Juba

November 24, 2007 (KHARTOUM) — The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) has summoned three high ranking members to Juba in order to investigate statements and contacts they made during the political crisis with the National Congress Party over the implementation of the peace deal.

Lam Akol
Lam Akol
Former minister of foreign affairs, Lam Akol, former state minister at the presidency, Telar Deng and former state minister for the Interior, Aleu Ayieny Aleu, were summoned for questioning in Juba by the SPLM leadership.

Concordant sources said Kiir wants to hear Akol about suspected contacts he had undertaken with some SPLM MPs and SPLM leadership members.

Also, Mohamed yousif Ahmed al-Mustafa, SPLM leading member and state labour minister, told al-Sudani that Lam Akol conduct raised suspicion about its purpose. He further said Akol was working secretly but his movements were monitored.

Regarding Telar Ring Deng and Aleu Ayieny Aleu, the SPLM leadership seems angered by last week statements about a plot to overthrow Salva Kiir from the leadership of the SPLM. Both have blamed Pagan Amum for the current crisis with the National Congress Party on the implementation of the CPA.

Aleu had said “Southern Sudan needs development not political troubles,” insinuating that Pagan Amum hard position for the full implementation of the CPA is counterproductive.

THIS TOP THREE OFFICIALS. HAVE AND HAD SECRETS GOALS TOWARD THEIR OWN BENEFIT.

YES I BELIEVED THAT PAGAN AMUM COULD OVERTHROW KIIR, BUT IF THIS WAS REAL, WHY (TELAR DENG)DID NOT FOLLOW THE SIMPLE RULES OF LEADERSHIPP.

If Telar Deng detected a problem within SPLM. the rule is called (CHAIN OF COMMAN)Take it up to your commander in cheif before releasing it to public. if you step over your COMMANDER IN CHIEF and release UNKNOW SOURCE OF INFORMATION. IT MEAN YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WANT TO OVERTHROW HIM.

NOW Lam Akol is clear to all southern sudanese that he surrendered his heart and backbone as african to ARABS AND OUTSIDER because of money and power. his goal is to be president of any political party leading to whole sudan.

LAM AKOL broke away from JOHN GARANG because GARANG rejected money that come outside. in order for those outsider to reserve the land of oil GARANG REJECTED THEIR MONEY. so Lam Broke away to go and collect those money. so now he is getting presure from those OUTSIDERS to take over the SOUTHERN SUDAN PRESIDENCY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

LAM AKOL IS A ROTTEN APPL IN S, SUDAN.

MOST OF OUR SOUTHERN LEADERS MIND ARE CONTROLL BY OUTSIDERS.

IF YOU ARE THE MAN OF THE HOUSE, YOU SHOULD NOT GO TO YOUR NEIGBER AND ASK HIM TO CONCEIVE A CHILD WITH YOUR WIFE.

LAM AKOL IS ASKING AL BASHIR AND MONEY MAN TO CONCEIVE A CHILD FOR HIM.

    ahahaha….

KIIR…I KNOW YOU CAN TAKE US TO THE TOP. DON’T LET US DOWN. WE COULD GO DOWN IF:

1: IF YOU LISTEND TO UN MISSIONS IN SUDAN TO JUDGE YOU ON YOU DECISSIONS. YOU MAKE UR DECISSIONS AND KNOW THEIR DISADVANTAGES. IF YOU DON’T KNOW THEIR DISADVANTAGE, THEN WITHDRAWN THE IDEA AND SEEK IDEA FROM UR COMRADES.

2: IF YOU DON’T KNOW YOUR PEOPLE. PEOLE THAT COULD HURT YOU. PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT QUALIFIED OR SKILLED TO JOBS OFFER.
3:IF YOU DON’T DIG YOUR OWN GUTS. OTHER COUNTRIES DON’T CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE OF OTHER COUNTRIES. NOT A SINGLE COUNTRY. THE PEOPLE CARE ABOUT PEOPLE, BUT IF THEIR COUNTRY GOVERNMENT SPOILED THEM. THEY ARE USELESS. MOST COUNTRIES ACT LIKE THEY ARE REPRESENTING THEIR PEOPLE, BUT REALLY THEY ARE NOT…

I JUST HATE TO SEE MY PEOPLE GETTING BLIND…..

    Excellent moved!!!!!!!!

What should follow next, these individuals need to be removed immediately from Central Government.

What is known about them to date, could just be tips of ice berg. Indicatively, they have already found green pasture with NCP and need not to be disrupted.

SPLA can not and would not afford a thread of division on it ranks. Neither any one of us wants to hear with his/her own eyes.

Well, this is truly amazing and wonderful to see the SPLM taking care of the frankstein enemies and NIF agents from within. These three monstors must be put behind the bars until further notice. They think that the are on the side of the people, but the truth of matter lies in their collaboration with enemy. I cannot forgive and forget about these traitors until the face the rule of laws in Southern Sudan. Telar Deng has been consistent denouncing the speeches of our President Kiir as personal opinions and not views of Southern Sudan. He went on to insult of Secretary General just because he was enticed with Islamic coins. Comrades Aleu, Telar and Lam, no foreign support worth the support of your people. Your unloyalty to our people and president who gave you the jobs has completely wore thin and you deem not to be with us anymore because you profeit your nationalism at the time of national crisis where only pep talk is only required. We are so tired of being NIF agents advocating its pogrom of depleting all the Southern Sudanese.

Our government has taken very strong step to summon you to Juba. In God willing, those of Riek Gai Kok, Gatluak Deng Garang Atem and other traitors will one day face the wrath of our ancestors. If you truly have hearts, how can you cooperate with enemy who beat the dream of war louder yesterday, while mujahideens are now in training camps? You deserve a severe punishment and penalty that is not only limited to prisons, but any available means including life imprisonment. It is to be notice that any traitor who happen to betray our cause and people must be dealt without hestitation, thanks to the men of SPLA in uniforms.

What the hell is going on in South Sudan. I believe the Sudan people liberation moment would bring these people into justic because they might have connection with bashire’s government. I have doubt about Aleu, but I would not concluded that he is not involved in this situation. I just hope the Spla would get this Former minister of foreign affairs to face our justic in South Sudan. Now, The Southerners have gotten the reality about Telar Deng, this man is interested in handing the South to the North Sudan. I know our security would always find out the people are again Southerners and also the people that are working on their interest not the freedom of our people in South Suda.

Congratulations to the government of Southern or New Sudan for its Investigative Steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is extremely good the government of Southern or New Sudan has taken an action to ensure the importance of our national security.

The high-raking government officials should not utter or blab things that can politically cause negative impacts and undermine the process of our political stability and development. If Dr. Lam Akol Ajawin, Aleu Ayeny Aleu and Telar Ring Deng became or want to become plants, moles, or double-agents working for the Northen Section or political institutions, then we the Southerners should not sit back and watch them betraying or giving us away to our vicious and ruthless enemy who has been contemplating ill-fated activities against us.

Therefore, I highly appreciated the reasonable step taken by the government of Southern or New Sudan to launch reasonable investigative measures to determine the purposes these people serve to us in their alleged suspicious conducts, activities, statements and contacts. It is excellent that suspicious people like Dr. Lam Akol, Aleu Ayeny Aleu and Telar Ring Deng were shadowed or tailed in their daily activities for the sake of our national security.

I pray that we will find the truth if these people are there in Khartoum or in these government institutins in the North to influence the behaviors of government institutions for the North, or works there for Northern government sections and secretly give information of our national importance to our vicious and ruthless enemy, or are there to double-cross us by working for their own advantages in the activities they have planned under the color of their official capacities.

The GOSS should pin them down and find this out and should give them their just deserts based on the degree of their involvements in illegal activities if legally proven or justified later. This will deter others who would be contemplating any ill-fated activities against us and at the same time, it will deter three gentelemen (Lam, Telar, and Aleu) that we can not tolerate these negative activities contrary to our philosophy and vision.

The principle of law is reflected in the very nature of the structure of the government institution that enforces it and the government of the New Sudan should enforce its laws if knowingly, purposely, and willfully overstepped by anyone who contravenes them with such beforehand calculated mental state or evil intent.

    Long Live SPLM/A!
    Long Live New Sudan!

Those three Southern Sudanese paid agent shoulb be investigated rigorously regarding possible espionage, subversion, and sedition. The implementationg of Compherensive Peace Accord is at the stake, and it is clear that there are enemies of the CPA. These three individuals have simplistic view for the Sudan’s problems which is contrary to most SPLM revolutionary intellectuals. They have demonstrated these views on many occassions during our struggle for better Sudan. There shoulb be a retribution for these three individuals according to the constitution of South Sudan.

These men who disadvantaged us, should be investigated thoroughly and punished accordingly. The SPLM from now on should put in place measures to enforce the party platforms and principles. The leniency nowadays in the SPLM in terms of how party officials function created the vacuum and had given our enemy accommodation on our bill. Lam Akol and Telar Deng from the day they took oath of the offices showed us that they were not with us. They had been making ridiculous, malicious, and damaging statements to the SPLM and marginalised people about what were happening in Sudan. They contradicted the SPLM and the SPLM chairman on every critical issue. Lam even literally and explicitly said he didn’t get the positon of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sudan through the SPLM. This is unacceptable behaviours by party members and officials everywhere in the world. The SPLM by now should have understood that it has to be serious about making sure that the party platforms and principles are abided by the members especially the postholders. The whips should monitor the activities of members in their sections and keep them in line with the party ideology.

Since when were Lam Akol and Deng Telar had abused and defiled their oppositions and SPLM leadership did not want to summon them. What has come to your minds these time that made you to think Akol and Telar are betrayers and they are having secret meetings with ruling party NCP?

I though when Lam Akol was defending and protecting the action of U.S.A against UN troops in Darfur was a clear point of somebody residing with Omar al-Bashir and opposing the position of SPLM towards bring peace in the whole country.

These kind of selfish leaders are many in the government of self-service (GOSS) they put their interest first then the poor man whom they think have no share in national cake die. If we can screen all of them then SPLM leadership would have made a greater change in their system of governance.

Northerners are always taking such opportunities very seriously and capitalised on it properly. This story is repeating itself when we reflect back to seventy’s and eighty’s when Joseph Lagu and Abel Laral were wrangling over the position and leadership council for Southern Sudan. The former president Nimeriry uses such trick to weaken the political system in southern Sudan so that he get rids of Adis-Ababa agreement. And because we are weak and we are self-centred politicians we accept divide and rule system played by Arabs in order to achieve their set goals.

SPLM leadership council need to wake up in scrutinise this behaviours of some of their colleagues who didn’t mind of the suffering marginalized southern Sudanese being denied of democratic right, access to medical services, education and continue training them of social isolation. This has traumatised most southern Sudanese during the struggle of fifty plus years. Yet poor leadership that we have add more and more stress to the citizens until many wish to remain in the north.

How do you expect somebody living in the oppressed northern Sudan with access to better education to his/her children although it is in Arabic it’s better than busy school where the government is not mining whether these children are going to school neither do they have good medical facilities?

I beg to stop my critics here because of time factor but I still have a lot to say.

    Dear brothers and sisters,

In everything, let us be a thoughtful people; and I know many of us are clever and wise enough to do so.
Many among us want these people grasped, beaten, and dismissed from their positions without evidence or a fair trial, this is a rebels’ way of doing things. Let’s remember that SPLM is trying to be a government now, ok?

I think that if I was one of them, I would need all the fairness I could get in court. This is what democracy means.
I have heard a lot of negatives about Lam Akol, and I think we should let the court of SPLM to judge him and give him and his buddies their dues instead of encouraging Kiir to dismiss them without a fair trial. Let’s get into the culture of using evidences in court, and I believe that it is more convincing for general public that way, because when you mess up next time, you are going to need a fair trial too instead of somebody soldiers showing up in the middle of the night, beat you up and and had you disappear. That’s terrible.

    Think before commenting please.

I hope Lam is not reiterating another ’91 split. He should appreciate how much he has been forgiven and wouldn’t dare to try again. SPLM must continue to take hardline on issues that affects the CPA and anybody with fair mind can not question SPLM position.

These Mundukuru oriented guys are really crazy their noise is too high even the deaf can get their foolish speeches, Lam said some years back that it is very impossible to follow the foolish majority not knowing that he is the foolish one. Lam can’t remember the way our wise late hero foregave him, how come that he wanted to repeat the history. Whom do he think is going to foregive him again?. Shame on your face “mr.Lam Basheir” your days, you and your master are number and Southern Sudanese are going to curse you severely if what the media is say is to be true. You and your master are going to be put in the book of Shame since what you have been doing is nothing but betayal of the wise people that are known to the whole world. The other spoil empty headed needs to be handle with good care since they are just but learners who like playing around with politics not knowing its bitter fruits when one don’t know how to play it. Why Dr Lam Akol apost gain?????
    Dear Sudanese!

This is what I have been saying right from the start of the current political crisis between the two ruling parties (SPLM and NCP); that SPLA/M militia party is not happy to share power with other Southern political forces; speciality with those of Dr Lam Akol and Dr Reik Machar given to the differences of the past(1991 rip) Now, it is grippingly becoming more clearly that SPLM withdrawal from GoNU was in deed stirred by its unhappiness to see those individuals that the militia used to label as traitors or collaborators of the enemy!!! occupying key positions neither at the level of the government of southern Sudan(GoSS) nor that of the government national unity (GoNU.)

Thus, I would like to persuade Dr Lam and Dr Reik plus others that SPLM are trying to marginalise and treat like second class members, to reconsider their decision of rejoining SPLM aimed to reinforce the unity of the fragmented Southern Sudanese forces by then, so as to achieve the inclusive peace deal to put an end or alleviate the suffering of our people!

But as SPLM seems to be unaware of such a tremendous boost contributed by those to both political and military strength of the militia, thus, I must urge those
who are being marginalised now by SPLM, to consider the ferment postponement of their alliances with SPLM militia and start to reactivate their KPA the only original document of the hijacked CPA that I believe is more than ready to grantee all the Southern Sudanese political forces their full representation, regardless of any dirty past! I must urge those to act now before SPLM consider their eradication!!!

First and formost, i would like to let SPLM/A know that, this is a misunderstanding that is brought forwards to you by the outsiders, this issue of plot to overthrow Salva Kiir is not true acording to my understanding, the SPLM/A are being blind fool so that they forget what they were fighting for. the first plan of pulling out the ministers from the North is challeng to Bashir that’s why they are looking for a way to distract the south government.

However, plot to overthrow Salva is used to weaken the strenth that SPLM have over the North, we the Southerners have learn from the North how they use to trick us, let this issue not take us back to square zero. Addition to that, Lam and Telar are favouring the Norht Government and are being use aganist their own people, we should not listen to them as they are there for their benefit not South. if SPLM knows who is favouring, then let stop hearing things that will make others laugh at us. the Worl is watching and we are forgeting that, let leave our brothers who are fighting for the South alone and lets run after those who wants to talk our right and freedom away.
