The Sudanese legislative body described the Russian response as “legitimate” and that Moscow had “the right to defend its citizens”.

Sudan also condemned the “crimes committed by Georgian forces against innocent citizens”.

“The genocide was committed in its worst forms and did not spare even the elders or children or sick or women” the foreign relations committee said in a statement.

Sudan and Russia enjoy good relations particularly in terms of military cooperation. Moscow along with Beijing blocked tough UN Security Council (UNSC) measures against Khartoum over the Darfur conflict.

Russia criticized a move by the International Criminal Court (ICC) last month to indict Sudanese president Omar Hassan Al-Bashir. Sudanese officials have said they are hopeful that Moscow will block the indictment.

The Sudanese parliament also slammed countries which stood against Russian military incursions saying they are the same “who supported the US invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan”.

US and other Western countries strongly condemned Russia for not putting a halt to its military campaign and for statements indicating that Moscow intends to oust the Georgian president.

This is what we call a white lie in my vernacular, the article has no substance whatsover. How come the NCP present its own position in the name of an entire nation that is comprised of several political parties? I reckon this move is intended at gaining Russian attention incase the ICC issue Vs al Bashir continues..

The World knows except the al Bashir’s that the Russian are at fault. As a Sudanese national and a good global citizen am in support of the Georgian people and their government. Now that present a Sudanese position? No, in my opinion it doesn’t. The above mentioned position should be treated as a national congress party position and not a Sudanese! Because we never agreed on a common ground!!!!

NIF never ceased to make the rare end out of themselves. This is an act of a dying donkey last kick and it’s so obvious why the NIF/NCP is desperately doing everything to support the Russian aggression against Georgia.

It’s simply because with South Sudan in the verge of seceding and possibly followed by the other regions soon afterward, they are willing to blindly support country like Russia in return for future support if they decided to attack South Sudan.

Despite all of these, one is thing very crystal clear and that’s the NIF days in the office are numbered.

Sudan all the time engage in foreign policies rather than its internal affairs.

Millitary campaigne launched by Moscow against innocent state of Georgia is condemned world wide as a crime. NCP’s support for Moscow in this millitary action clearly indicate that Sudan is “A FAILER STATE” as been said by SPLM sacretary general Pagan Amum.it is truth, if we look its political activities and participation in international level show that it is ” A FAILER STATE” that needs political transformation and nature fortitute as an indefendance state rather than defending on foreign countries.

Moscow is something but, already beyond its ability to cancel or block the case.

keep on supporting Moscow for other benefit and never dream of ICC case cancellation my FRIEND AL-BASHIR.

Arab dominated regimes in Sudan always respond surprisingly to sensitive issues and incidents that are very shocking to international community. In the first half of 1980s, Jaffar Nimeiry requested a military brigade from his so-called borther Yasir Arafat of the PLO to be sent to S. Sudan to kill southerners and be paid by Sudan national Bank.

During that time of Nimeiry offering wages in million of dollars to Palestinians to implement the scorched-earth policies he and other Arab Sudanese are pursuing in the south, the international community was caling for world’s good-will wishers to donate money for Darfur famine.

Sadiq El Sidiq Abderahaman (Mahidi)government official odered the massacred of thousands of innocent civillians by burning them alive in El Dhein Train of death. In respond to that massacre, Mr Peter Gatkuoth Gual then, Vice President of the SSPA called for interanational investigation, but not only block by then so-called National Assembly Arab members, he was threaten to be kicked out in the assembly or killed.

In August 1990 the current NIF government supported the craziest decision of Saddam to occupy Kwait by sending not only millions of congratulations to the mad man, but the Mujahadiin to fight along side Saddam forces against the whole world that was siding Kwaiti people.

Given that few information about a huge bad backgrounds of Khartoum regimes, it is not surprise for me to see NIF regime supporting Russian evilism and unhumane killing of innocent Georgian people which still going on as I am writing this comment.

The following qoutations fited with the situation engulfed NIF-Russia regimes: 1. “Hyenas voices sound the same all over the world” 2. “Birds of the same feathers flock together” However, Sudanese people in all their social and political groupings must strongly condamn the use of their name by NIF evil regime to support the big wounded Evil call Russia.

I condamned this unfortunate criminal respond by the NIF regime.

I am also noticing my heartfelt solidarity with the people of Georgia.

Shame to US, European and African governments for not acting to stop Russia and save Georgian people despite Georgian sharing democracy and freedom values especially with United States and Europe.

Who else in Georgia can ever believe that US and Europe can protect democracy and freedom lovers from Devils?

US government has cheated Georgian people and therefore, should pay heavy compansations to Georgian poor families who lost their love ones and everything that they have worked so hard for their lives.

And lastly NIF regime has declared a war against the people of Sudan again and must not be allowed to get away with it.

    the same rights
South Sudan is going to obtain independence from Sudan. Very well.

Kosovo obtained independence from Serbia (with support of the USA, but in spite of the opposition of Serbia, the mother land).

Why South Ossetia has no right for independence (in spite of the opposition of Georgia) ? There are another people and they ask only for the same rights for self-determination.

Supporting Moscow is the only card NCP has on it hand right now because their idea of islamic fundamentalism simply doesn’t sit well with Western democracies especially America which has been stung by Islamic fanatism. They are doing this in the hope of getting continued assistance from Moscow. This will further enhance NCP isolation from Western powers who will continue to oppose them. This will eventually lead to their demise, a good news for those whom they have been oppressing since they came to power.

It is one of the most outrageous and stupid statements that I hear from this assembly. These guys are just the appointees not elected by the Sudanese people. They are just trying to lobby Moscow on behalf of their master. All of you are war criminals.

You described Russian invasion of Georgia legitimate because of the military asistance you getting from Russia.

If you a qualified Editor and want Sudanese around the world to be heard, you leave their comments on the website to be read by other people around the world. Don’t delete comments pliz.

My comments came after Garner but is not there. Iam very disappointed by the cover up of the issues that are hurting locals.

You are not perfect enough to endorse Russian invasion.
