South Sudan delegation heads to Switzerland for human security conference

July 16, 2009 (JUBA) – A high level delegation of the semi-autonomous Government of Southern Sudan heads to Switzerland to participate in a global conference on human security.
The delegation comprising of a number of ministers, presidential advisors and senior officers from the security organs is led by the Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny.
Shortly before his departure on Thursday to Geneva, Switzerland, via Khartoum, Machar told the press that the conference would discuss seven elements of human security. These include economic and food security, health and environmental security, personal security, community and political security.
He added that the conference will have a specific workshop to discuss such elements of security in the context of Sudan’s situation.
Southern Sudan lacks most of the mentioned security elements that guarantee human security.
It will be the first time that Southern Sudan – as an entity – is represented in such a global conference.
Leaders and representatives from over 60 countries are expected to participate in the conference.

Dr. Machar this is your time, enough for being just below a pig, show them in Switzerland that you will be there next year as the dear President of Southern Sudan.
What a moment, when that man comes to power and those who pretence with wear coats and cowboying shall see how its to rule.

In fact, “Southern Sudan is in a dark shadow”. I don’t understand why people claim leadership without political experiences. It came into my attention that those seven view points in which Dr Riak Machar Teny, hosted as an agenda of making his visit to Switzerland with his fellows Ministers are ironically been disjotted and they should be three. Instead of making them to be seven, why we don’t joined a Food security and a Health security under Environmental Security? Then again, instead of a personal security and a political security, why we don’t joined these two securities protocols under a Community Security and leave Economic Security as it is?
To make it more transparent and clear in term of an Economic Security, this mean that our Southern Sudan Government should focused on the factors which can empowered them in order to carried and maintained their Economic Security level in Southern Sudan. Second, they should be able to know the basic fundamentals on their Economic Security if encase those fundamentals significance issues are not fully initiated in their Economic Security, then what will be the “draw-back” to their Economic Security? On the other hand, Will the Economic Security be venerated by the Southern Sudanese people without the basic essential principles? That is one point.
Third, in a Community Security, the Southern Sudanese delegation under the Southern Sudanese Vice President Dr Riak Machar Teny, should also bring forth and fingertip the point of a security in a whole Southern Sudanese communities starting from Equatoria Region up to Abyei Town. They have to address that issue amicably with the point of graping and utilizing the best notions with which the can sustained their Southern Sudanese Communities Securities very tightly. Beside the Political security, what is its different with a Community Security? This is exactly the same like when a Nuer and a Dinka guy arguing on a meat. The Nuer Guy said in his own language that “BABUUL” and a Dinka Guy said “ABIINYOP”. So, that is what happening to our Southern Sudanese Vice President Dr Riak Machar Teny, when he differentiated the Community Security with a Political Security. The only thing that I see is a matter of understanding the basic meaning between a Political Security and a Community Security. That is second point.
Lastly, as an Environmental Security concern and serve the same purpose with the other Securities mentioned above, our Southern Sudanese delegation should have to stratified and elaborated the chief strategies to keep their Environmental atmosphere from eroding and damaging. They have to make sure and acknowledge couples of things which make the Environmental more awesome and non-free from violence. As they decided to make a visit to Switzerland, they have to know and mentioned the key solution of Environmental issue if encase the Switzerland Ministers can be ready and willing enough in order to make a contribution on some specific things which can make Environmental more attractable and off from violence. Moreover, the Southern Sudanese delegation under Dr Riak Machar Teny, have to be realistic and know the basic important points if for instance, the Southern Sudanese Environmental Security is not well maintained nor it is not well taken care the way it is supposed to be, then what will be the effect and the cause as a result of mishandling the Environmental Security? Also, if an Environmental seem to be the cause of unhealthy problems to the people, what will be the main things in which Southern Sudanese Ministers should have to do so that they can fight and eradicated those causes before the inflicted serious harms to the people of Southern Sudan? So, these are they things which Mr Vice President Dr Riak Machar Teny, have to narrow instead of making them to be Seven Agendas or Topics. I will not go further, but “Southern Sudanese people are still lack of a Servant who can pointed out what is on a top of an Apex of a human heart”. That is the third point.

Southerners, when you point accussing finger at some one, three fingers pointed at you.
Visisting as a head of delegate will not qualify some one to be the next president, and also does not mean he is the only educated person that can explain much about the welfare of Southern Sudan. If he becomes a president, well he will not lead and take care of one community (Nuer) but the whole Southern Sudan. Please young men, you are victimizing your leaders in way you don’t know. Even Riak himslef if you ask him he cannot talk the way who called themsleve supporters of Machr talk.
Please don’t let your yesterday disappointment over shadow your tommorrow’s hope.Southern Sudan is not for one tribe but for all and whoever think will bring the people of South Sudan as one people will be the next president despite the tribe he belong.
