Meanwhile, the Egyptian Ambassador to Khartoum, Mohamed Abdelmoneim Al-Shazali, has expressed optimism over the outcome of the fourth session of the joint higher committee, explaining that the session gains special importance as it will be the first one after the signing of the peace agreement and formation of the National Unity Government.

Al-Shazali said that the Sudanese delegation would include for the first time ministers from the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), pointing out that realization of peace is vital for effecting development.

The Egyptian envoy said participation of businessmen and investors from the two countries in the meeting is a prelude for entering in investment operations in the two sisterly countries and boosting the infrastructures, which will contribute in supporting the joint projects.

Al-Shazali said the four freedoms agreement, which was signed earlier between Sudan and Egypt, is considered as a turning point in the progress of the relations between the two countries.
