Sudan praises bilateral relations with India
Nov 12, 2005 (KHARTOUM) — Sudanese president Omar al-Beshir has praised the level of relations between Sudan and India. He also affirmed Sudan’s keenness to advance these ties further in order to benefit the two countries.
Speaking today at the Republican Palace while receiving the credentials of the new Indian ambassador to Sudan, Dipak Fawhara, the president hailed India’s views on Sudan, as well as its support to the country’s peace and development process.
On his part, the Indian ambassador stressed his determination to develop the relations and cooperation between his country and Sudan, especially in the economic field, as well as boost investment to benefit the peoples of the two friendly countries.
