Sudan Vice-President appoints Upper Nile State cabinet

Dec 12, 2005 (JUBA) — The president of the government of Southern Sudan, Lt-Gen Salva Kiir Mayardit, issued a decree today appointing cabinet of Upper Nil State, as follows:

– Dock Jok Dock, Deputy Governor and Minister for Social Development (SPLM)

– Kom Bidonk Nebwat, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning (SPLM)

– Jwak Deng Obor, Minister for Local Government and Legal affairs (SPLM)

– James Toyo Opaul, Minister of Health (SPLM)

– Ton Moum Kijol, Minister for Information and Communications (SSDF)

– Samuel Aban, Minister for Agriculture (NC)

– Veter Gal, Minister of Urban Planning (USAP)

Advisors to the governor:

– Moma Tiger, Adviser on Economic Affairs (SPLM)
