Sunday first day of Ramadan in Sudan

KHARTOUM, Oct 25, 2003 (KUNA) — The holy month of Ramadan starts on Sunday in Sudan, The Legal Fatwa Council declared Saturday.

A statement by the council said the decision was based on what it said proven sighting of the crescent in some Arab states.
