SSLF denounces SPLM monopoly of power in South Sudan

South Sudanese Liberation Front (SSLF/ UAFLSS)

THE LEADER OF (SPLA/SPLM) REJECTED THE FORMATION OF POWER- SHARING GOVERNMENT IN SOUTHERN SUDAN.

Saturday, 6th October 2007

Press Release

The Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudan People’ Liberation Army (SPLA) totally rejected the formation of power sharing and legitimate government in Southern Sudan. Lt.Gen. Salfa Kir Mayardit has not yet realised that the tribalisation and clanisation of the Government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) may result in serious factional conflict in the region.

Death of the (CPA)

The so-called Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) has already dead but the leader of (SPLA/SPLM) refused to declare its death officially. The death of (CPA) occurred as consequence of marginalisation of many Sudanese tribes and also exclusion of many political and multi-armed forces from the signing of the (CPA). In response to the recently death of the (CPA), the South Sudanese Liberation Front (SSLF) will reach peaceful negotiation with the Government of Khartoum (GOK). The real North-South peace deal will involve all the political forces, armed forces, religious and other groups.

Redeployment of armed forces

All armed forces that have already joined the United Armed Forces for the Liberation of Southern Sudan (UAFLSS), will not be redeployed into Northern Sudan because the liberation of Southern Sudan and its people from (SPLA/SPLM) is still going on. The (UAFLSS) is a new military organisation with manpower; it was designed to defend the civilian populations and liberate an entire Southern Sudan and its people from (SPLA/SPLM) and other threats.

SPLA must be disarmed

The tribal organisation named (SPLA) must be completely disarmed before the year 2009 and United Armed Forces for the Liberating of Southern Sudan (UALSS) will lead the disarmament. The military battle against (SPLA) is winnable because the (SPLA) is currently lacking man power, military weapons, ammunitions and military uniforms. Its military weapons, ammunitions and others were captured by South Sudan Defence Force during the battle of Malakal. The (SPLA) was not created to defend the civil-populations against internal and external threats; it was poorly designed in 1983 by the late Dr John Garang de Mabior to kill innocent people, rape women, destroy /burn houses, and protect the Dinka interests. This tribal military organisation attempted to free the people of Sudan against slavery but the liberation was unsuccessful. In the year 2003, it decided to surrender its forces to the Sudanese National Armed Force (SNAF) and signed the cheapest and baseless agreement with the Government of Khartoum (GOK) on 9th of January 2005.

The cancellation of the oil revenue

The 50% from the oil income that goes to the so-called Sudan people’ Liberation Army (SPLA/SPM) must be given to a non-tribal and well-organised Southern political organisation for the following reasons:-

The (SPLA/SPLM) totally failed to build the infrastructure such as roads railways, schools, hospitals, bridges, airports, and so on;
The 50% from the oil revenue is used for bribing of the poor people to stand behind the (SPLM);
It absolutely failed to liaise with local and international organisations;
The (SPLA/SPLM) supports the destruction and re colonisation of Sudan;
SPLA is unable to protect the civilian populations in Southern Sudan; it continues defending the (Dinka) civilians against other ethnic groups;
The people who reside the near the (oil-field) (s) have never received their share of 2% from oil income;
It got no true vision, mission, goals and true liberation objectives;
SPLA continues training under age lost boys who should have gone to school;
It disarmed some tribes and left other tribes undisarmed. For instance, Murle and other armed tribes;
It continues campaigning against multi-partism and threatens the democrats;
SPLM encourages tribalism, racism, nepotism and other forms of corruption. For instance, the none- Dinka graduates are not employed; they are treated like primary students;
SPLM/SPLA successfully hijacked the so-called Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA);
The none-Dinkas are forced to worship the late Dr.John Garang de Mabior; and
The Government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) has been tribalised and clanised.

In conclusion, the so-called Sudan People’s Liberation (SPLA) must be eliminated because it has already failed to provide security services for the civil-populations in Southern Sudan. The people of Equatoria are killed / tortured by Lord Resistance Army of Uganda and the (SPLA) never fired any single bullet against (LRA). It has come to our attention that the security and power sharing in Southern Sudan, will be achieved through maximum and constant military strike. On behalf of South Sudanese Liberation Front (SSLF), I am urgently calling on all the anti-SPLA Southern Military forces operating in Sudan to join the (UAFLSS). The leader of (SPLA/SPLM) has officially declared the South-South civil-war and there is no need to wait for the next official announcement. On behalf of an entire organisation, I am urging all the local and peaceful international organisations to provide financial support to (SSLF/UAFLSS).

Signed;

Yien Lam Tot

Leader of South Sudanese Liberation Front (SSLF/ UAFLSS)
