Committed to protect and guarantee the interest of Southern Sudan at the National and Regional levels in accordance with the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
Committed to human rights, fundamental freedoms, rule of law, Gender equity, democratic transformation and multi-party democracy in Sudan.
Committed to genuine and transparent implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement signed between the Government of Sudan and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/Army.
Committed to strategic alliance and cooperation with the SPLM/A, USAP 2
USAP 2 (PPP, SAC,& SANU), followed with great concerned the National crisis of the non-cooperation in implementation of the CPA by the National Congress Party raised by the SPLM leadership namely: Issue of Abyei, Redeployment of Sudan Armed Forces Outside Southern Sudan and Demarcation of South North border as 1st January 1956.
USAP 2 (PPP, SAC, & SANU), HEREBY declares its full support to the SPLM leadership decisions to suspend their participation in the Government of National Unity. We therefore call upon our regional and state offices, members and supporters to stand side by side with their sisters and brothers in the SPLM. We further call upon all political forcesand parties in the Sudan in general and southern political parties in particular to support the position of the SPLM.
