SSLF accuses SPLM of preparing to attack its position in South Sudan

South Sudanese Liberation Front

United Armed Forces for the Liberation of Southern Sudan (SSLF/UAFLESS)

SPLA IS PLANNING TO SHELL THE (U.A.F.L.S.S) POSITIONS

Wednesday, 31st October 2007

Press Release

The military wing of the so-called Sudan People ‘s Liberation Movement (SPLM) is planning to launch a military strike against the United Armed Forces for the Liberating of Southern Sudan (UAFLSS) The (SPLA) wants to shell the (UAFLSS) positions while most its troops have already deserted and some have joined the Sudan National Armed (SNA.F). The (UAFLSS) will not forgive any (SPLA) ‘s operative who will be captured alive in the battle field. Nevertheless, the (UAFLSS)) complies with the Geneva Convention of 1864. The (SPLA) has never won the war militarily since its establishment in 1983 in Pil-paam, Ethiopia. It is a full tribal military organisation formed to protect the (Dinkas) and also to raid the cattle from the neighbouring tribes. The Name (SPLA /SPLM), was designed to mislead the local and international organisations that it is a true liberation organisation. Many local and international organisations have already realised that the (SPLA/SPLM) operates as a part of Dinka community. As a consequences of the tribalisation of the (SPLA/SPLM), approximately 90% of the Sudanese tribes withdrew their support from the so-called (GOSS). In addition to this, the temporary peace deal signed by both parties; the Government of Sudan (GOS) and the Sudan People ‘s Liberation Army (SPLA/SPLM) has been officially declared burried and it is the right time for (SSLF) to begin talks with the Government of Khartoum (GOK). In order to bring to an end the Sudan ‘s chronic civil-war, the following should be included in the up coming real peace dialogue:-

1.1. Darfur political forces, armed groups and regious communties;

1.2. Eastern military forecs, political and religious groups;

1.3. Southern political forces, military forces and regious communities; and

1.4. Political forces, armed groups and regious groups operating in Nuba Mountains.

2. An other hand the Government of Khartoum (GOK).

The (SSLF) demands permanent peace and security in Sudan, revitilisation of the national economy, full powersharing, wealth sharing, democratisation of the (GOS), religous freedom, Self-Determination for the people of Southern Sudan which will be accomplished through permanent peace agreement and interntionally supervised referrendum, just to mention a few. The (CPA) will never bring permanent peace and Self-termination for the people of Southern Sudan because it has ended up with serious factional fighting and tribal clashed in Southern Sudan and Sudan as whole. Secondly, the (CPA) didn’t cover the whole Sudan; it was only signed by National Congress Party and the (SPLM/SPLA).

About the deployment of foreign military forces, the South Sudanese Liberation Front (SSLF) works against the deployment of 20,000 (UN) troops into Sudan. These troops have been requested by the (SPLA/SPLM) for the re colonisation of Sudan and not for the protection of the civilian populations in Darfur. The (SPLA) has totally lost power in Sudan and has called on all the nations loyal to (SPLM/SPLA) to immediatelly invade the Sudan.

In conclusion, all anti-SPLA Southern military forces that were redeployed in the Northby mistake by the Government of Khartoum (GOK) should return immediatelly to the South to defend the civilian populations and participate in the patrolling of the oil-fields.

The so-called Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) wants to deploy its troops in the oil-fields while its armed forces have not qualified to protect the regional and national assets with appropriate laws. For example, after the signing of the (CPA), the (SPLA) ordered its troops to fight Lou-Nuer, and also fought alongside with Dinkas against Moro, Azande, and other tribes. Is (SPLA) a legitamate military organisation? The answer is no ! The (SPLA) has got no clear liberation objectives; it works day and night against regional and national peace and security. Finally, the Government of Khartoum (GOK) should contact the South Sudanese Liberation Front (SSLF) immediatelly for the real peace talks. The (CPA) signed by both parties in Kenya, has been succesfully hijacked by (SPLM/SPLA) and there is no need to delay the inclusive talks. The (SSLF) will soon appoint its delegates for the upcoming Sudan ‘s comprehensive peace talks.

Signed;

Yien Lam Tot

Former Secretary for External Affairs of (SSUDA, and

Leader of (SSLF / UAFLSS)

    Please Yien, you are using somebody vehicle and that is Bashir’ vehicle to betray you own people. therefore you have two choice to make, either to Join Bashir dictatorial government or SPLA despite how you term it to be. the so-called SSLF is so new to southerners but SPLA that you term to be Dinka movement is the only one that MUST take the southerners to the promised land,and it is really the one that brought peace that you now enjoying. remember that Arabs are using you as stooge but you are slave looking for money from them, remember any time they will kill you like hen.

    your movement got good name that sound good, please again tell to the southerners how you have liberated them all along?

    My dear, money is great evil that kills. so watch out Arabs will teach you bad lesson to remember.
    Your movement is baseless movement with no objectives for southerners, but only to cause instability among southerner, that one will never yield fruits because we are now united exception of few like you who wanted to promote Arabs’ interest in South South.
    Please do you know the amount of oil Arab export a day? and this oil is our oil in southern Sudan. however your movement is for liberation of southerner but you failed to liberate from poor Arabs who only came with salt as traders to Sudan and they wanted to get rich out of own blood and resources.
    I advice you to eat you money peacefully because this is our money steal by Arab, to buy weak hearted southerners like you.

    Before I ask some questions about the above article, I would like to thank Mr Yien Lam Tot for mentioning the phrase “South Sudan” I apologize in advance should my questions sound senseless to the readers and the author in particular. Firstly, which people of South Sudan are being liberated by UAFLESS? Secondly, Who are the beneficiaries of the Comprehensive Peace Accord/Agreement (CPA)? Thirdly, as the former secretary of SSLF, have you ever gone through the Interim Constitution of South Sudan? I may provide some answers for the above questions. The South Sudanese people are supposed to be protected by the SPLA or South Sudan Army I should say as they stood shoulder by shoulder with them. The beneficiaries of the CPA are the people of South Sudan as they try to build the undeveloped and devastated South Sudan.There is at least good security though not ultimate and peace is now at hand after it cost us so much lives through our internal fighting that you are now trying to initiate. And finally for someone fighting for total liberation for the people of South Sudan you should have read the Interim Constitution of South Sudan, The total liberation of South Sudan has been provided for in the Interim Constitution which states ” The people of Southern Sudan, voting on a single ballot and by majority
    vote, shall either:
    (a) confirm unity of the Sudan by voting to adopt the system of
    government established under the Comprehensive Peace
    Agreement, this Constitution and the Interim National
    Constitution; or (a)vote for secession.”
    In this case voting for secession means that South Sudan is now totally liberated from Arab dominated northerners and if that attempt fails you would liberate South Sudan. I think this would give you a majority support within South Sudan, Mr Y Lam I appreciate your comments but now is not time to defend positions within South Sudan, it is time to support the SPLA/South Sudan Army. If you are really a patriotic than the time to stand up for South Sudan is now.

    God bless South Sudan

    Mr. Tot,

    I can say that what you got here is a direct denial of history and facts in Southern Sudan!

    Anybody who knows any history at all about Southern Sudan can not talk like you did. It is a direct denial of history and facts! Your friendship with Khartoum is overbearing and people can discern that. Khartoum made the South desolate, made it look like a graveyard, and to hear you calling them back makes me sick in the heart. If I continue, I will might be tempted to call you names, but I just have to stop. It is more Christ-like to have self-control.

    May God bring you back to your senses.

    Dear Mr. Yien Lam I congratulate you for being loyal to your masters. I was not going write or comment on your article but because your release came in a very critical moment in the history of our people in the southern Sudan whom you said you want to liberate ? you are good in creating confusion. at this moment while people are talking about the current political situation in the country you were waging for war. I do not what to bother the readers with many question rather than giving answers. but i know the southern are wise and they can read between the lines. you have declared burial of CPA and you want to be given chance to negotiate peace, how can you negotiate fair peace with somebody who is paying your salaries and equiping your arms group ? you also alleged that SPLA did not win any war. let us assume that your allegations are true, why did they remain in bush for 21 years and also if it is so do you thaink that the regime of El Bashir would have accept to negotiate peace with abroken army ? you did not mentioned the place where SPLA forces were preparing to attack your forces is that place in the southern sudan or in the north. let me assume that the place is in the south, since you have joint SAF your forces should be redeploy to 1956 boarder but because and with bad intention from your masters you were left there to create more instability and confusion to southerners.
    it is high time my dear to register our name in the history for the caming generation would not forgive us.

    A satisfied man does n’t know another one is hungry

    Dear Sudan tribune allow me to tell SSF this short story about the camel and the fox.The story goes,
    Once upon a time there lived camel and the fox in a strong relationship.One day they went to steal food on somebodies farm,and on the farm the fox got satisfied and the camel didn,t, therefore it informed the camel its one of my habits to cry if iam satisfied.it cried and the farm,s owner rushed with a big stick getting that its very small animal fled and the camel was beaten almost to death. But unfortunately during the flee the fox left and on the way lies a deep river which is too hard for it to cross. Therefore it has to wait the beaten camel to carry him to the bank of the river.As the camel carries it pretendingly informed the fox that i do rolled myself in water if iam satisfied ,therefore the camel did rolled and that ,the fox drowned and that marks the end of its live.my meessage is, even if the Ncp fills your accounts with money there lies SPLM ,NCP and in the middle lies the CPA should you plan any thing dangerous to Southerners then you will be drowned.

    Hey Mr. Yien Lam Tot, if that’s your real name, ARE YOU SERIOUS? OR IS THIS JUST A PUBLICITY STUNT?

    Amidst the current crisis you should focus your energy on uniting the people of southern Sudan as a whole, that is if you are of any influence to anybody. Instead, you seek to preach tribalism, which has already wrecked southern Sudan, how unethical. The future of southern Sudan had never looked brighter than it does today, with a semi-autonomous government and an internationally monitored Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA); covering all issues southerners fought for including the right to self-determination.
    So what more do you want? If your forces are legit, why not unite with the other armed forces of southern Sudan, or do you first have to be appointed a Minister? If you are not for the betterment of southern Sudan than you are for her destruction. Calling to dismantle the current CPA so you could lead your delegation into fresh negotiations with the National Congress Party (NCP) is a shame, not on you but on your incompetence. Obviously you do not realized that this is a critical stage in southern Sudan history and requires unity. Brother the NCP as it is, regrets they had signed the CPA which is why they (NCP) are reluctant to fully implement the CPA. What makes you think you have the capacity and competence to negotiate a better CPA with Beshir’s representatives?
