Eastern Equatoria speaker cites gender for her impeachment

September 23, 2008 (BOR TOWN) – Speaker of Eastern Equatoria State Assembly dismissed charges that caused her impeachment but says “our societies are not ready for women leadership.”
“There was a threat that by Monday I must resign but I told them that I will not,” Dario told reporters Sabina added: “This is because our societies are not ready for women leadership” but there are no genuine unconstitutional moves she made.
The Eastern Equatoria Assembly accuses Speaker Dario of ordering search of MPs pockets for pistols, signing financial documents beyond her mandate and downplays money-laundering at the assembly, but she denied all these charges.
“These accusations are not based on evident as were proven by the previous fact finding committee,” she asserted.
Eastern Equatoria is one of the media-starved states in Southern Sudan. Effort made by local reporters to cover the State turmoil ended up in detaining The Juba Post earlier this month termed journalists harassment as “media has become a crime in Eastern Equatoria.”
The persistence of the MPs to allow Speaker Dario resuming her duties reportedly resulted in closing down the assembly by the state governor last month and remaining shut this month in protest by MPs despite renewed normalization of ties between the Executive and Legislature.
The Government of Southern Sudan allows women 25% representation in all organs of government and free to compete in the remaining 75%. Speaker Dario is the second powerful female leader in Southern Sudan after Western Equatoria Governor Mrs. Jemma Kumba.

The accusation of the EES speaker was not a surprise to us,because she was practicing “tribal politics” by supporting assembly members from her community during the debates,we also suspect her in financial mismanagement and illegally dismissing of some people in the Assembly,however according to the accusation of Dario,i would suspect that Mr Kiir was the man who lead the orders rather than the people of EES in particular,and this seem to be clear that in Goss we do have tribalism right from the top,but not just when things went wrong like this,imagine in jungle state every single issue even visiting to a pit latrine is almost to be presented on the media,but why not in EES so that we can have the fact about their issues,why can’t Goss provide them with the media,it is not their fault it’s the Goss who fail to supply them with any necessary materials.It means there is no Goss in forgotten EES,WES land for LRA and CES roaming area for junglese,even Kiir is proud of 2009,but who is going to vote someone whom they have no idea about him,Mr Kiir have ever visited those people since 2005 so that they can see who you’re?.Anyway God is Great to help us in this beautiful land of Greater Equatoria

I have been waiting your comment regarding all this wrangling, and most importantly to see you struggling like a chicken with one leg tied to the big pole.
This particular incident will pave the way for others from the rest of the states to level you as short sighted rat who have been pounding Jongolei for its previous problems as well as other states without checking the size of your own suit. What a move for the southern government to fight against corrupters. It is not excuse for mrs. Dario that our societies are not ready for women leadership because corruption is not confined to men only that why government is getting rid of corrupters.It is an official formula for any government to demand resignation from accuser to proof him/her self in the court without serving in any post. So my sister get off of the post please but complain to the authority for the post to be given to the women because you are not the only sounded woman in our society.

I can hardly read and understand your english brother, I don’t know whether it is because of run-on sentence or your poor formating.
Please, I want you to rush to any near by adult education center and help yourself with writing English than trying hard to exchange your grammitically weak english with people whom most of them might be professionals from different fields or students of higher education so as for, you to stop copying words which you don’t even know their meanings like lession B you are taking about. In God sake what do you know about lession B? where is lession A in first place? But the bad news to you is that, you don’t have power to teach them a lession or they may teach you worst one while they still grow bigger and stronger.
Before I proceed, it is good to bring into your intention that, there is no war between Murle and Bor now.Bor and Murle had established very strong relationship. Secondly, All Bor are not fattening themselve with southsudan money accept those few commanders who are at the same way are just like few Murle, Nuer and other Equatorians in the government. Lastly, the minister of finance in Jongolei is Murle, that also means, there is no way for Bor officials to embezzle or get themselve rich with Jongole money without Murlein the list. Mr. Logic lies after lies will not help you and or your ambitions.
Now I got very important news for you:
1. I know you are vulture-headed raccoon, born hater and empty minded who don’t respect anybody include your own parents. As from today I want you to stop insulting president Kiir, Riak Machar, Kuol Manyang and other high rakning officials.
2. Stop insulting other peoples tribes.
3. Respect women as human being and try to honor their positions at every level of the government.And
4. Most importantly,if you fail to honor those four principles, I will go ahead and trace your little sticking butts out and Hand your name over to the GOSS in matter of weeks if not days.
Am very serious I will do it, because I did it before and I am going to do it again, I know it is going to cost me time at least 45 minute to commplete the job. We are tired to see a dog like you insulting great people like Kiir and Riak whom you don’t even know where they use to be just seven years ago.
I know People can disagree, but still we have to maintain diameter of respect.
It is now have to you to choose one of the two.
