Independent Gubernatorial candidate in NBGS reiterates his support to SPLM’s Arman

March 14, 2010 (KHARTOUM) – An independent gubernatorial candidate in the southern state of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, General Dau Aturjong Nyuol, has said he remains loyal to his people and that he will support SPLM national presidential candidate Yasir Saeed Arman to win the upcoming elections.
“Arman and I were in the bush fighting for all freedoms including freedom to elect and be elected. I cannot change my support to him because of what I hear and what he hears too.”
“In all my rallies, I ask local population give me their supports and Yasir Arman,” stressed General Dau who is a former SPLM member but runs as independent candidate.
He also reiterated his support to the SPLM chairman Salva Kiir Mayardit for southern Sudan presidency in the forthcoming elections.
“I have talked much about them in my rallies because they need our support regardless of what people tell them about independent candidates,” General Dau added.
The gubernatorial candidate, who garners support from composite group of people against SPLM official nominee Paul Malong Awan, held a rally at Maper Akot, west of Aweil town, where he pledged to bring development changes in the area if elected.
He also challenged youth to be actively involved in the shaping of the future urging them never to be discourage and called for trust in them. He also advised them not to be used for vices but instead outline priorities in their lives.
He said youth must realize that education is the key to success. He further urged youth to realize that they are future leaders and must place their efforts in attaining education.
He also advised politicians not to take advantage of the youth but to help them attain their goals in life stressing youth should be actively involved in decisions that change their lives.

Very interesting indeed! Independent candidate, Gen. Aturjong supports the SPLM presidential candidate, Yasser Arman, while the so-called SPLM official candidate for governorship, Gen. Malong, switches side and instead supports opposition party candidate, Omer Al-Bashir. What a confusion. Now it is very clear that independents are the true SPLM than those hand-picked oppositions from within………

You have to know that there is difference bettween indepident candidates across the states. This Dau Aturjok has been SPLM hero for decades and he is among the pure indipendent candidates who act without the influence from Jallaba.
Please watch out from those of Angelina Teny( the wife of traitor Riek Machar) and Joseph of WES because they have closed allies with NCP. Anglina will not defeat Taban Deng Gai in Unity State.Mark that in your mind.
