Sexually transmitted diseases and malnutrition prevalent in Rumbek survey

By Manyang Mayom

April 5, 2010 (RUMBEK) — Sexually transmitted diseases, malnutrition and lack of food harmfully affect Rumbek residents who participated a household health survey, a survey supervisor said.

Ms. Mary Akujur Mawat is a supervisor of Sudan Household Health Survey in Rumbek Central County. She said that they have been astonished by the experiences of the members of families they have met during the ongoing household health survey.

She said that women have shared with them their problems related to reproduction, citing miscarriages and sexually transmitted infections. She also said that there is general lack of food in most of the houses they have visited.

Ms. Akujur urged families to open up more to household health surveyors, explaining that the information given will help the government and other relevant institutions come to the help of people.

The Household Health Survey in Rumbek Central Country started on March 2, and will go on for 35 days.

You never analyse the truth and you always run your big mouth in national affairs. Goes around come s around, I only feel sorry that in your custom, people never mind about each other accept their own stomach. Selfish in the government is what the World can understand.

Lord Jesus Christ, help these insane civilians of Rumbek from encountering themselves with Sexual Transmitted Diseases(STDs). I’m not going to talk about Malnutrition because it is something common in Southern Sudan.

I do really blame the so call the Government Of Southern Sudan(GOSS) including the head of GOSS and his associates because of misusing the funds. Diseases are affecting the Southern Sudanese Civilians, while people are talking about development and campaign which will not even succeed. I wish Southern Sudanese should have to join Arabs from the North. “If we Southern Sudanese people are not capable of governing ourselves or dethroning the Government of Northern Sudan, then it is good for us we Southerners to join the Government of Khartoum”. There is a saying said that “if you are not able to defeat your enemy, then join him”. So, Southern Sudan Government is like someone who is not able to defeat the enemy.

In this point, if we can not managed to defeat the enemy from the North, then why we don’t join it? Every year, Southern Sudanese Civilians are suffering and the leaders of the Southern are not curious about their own people. I believe with a good Government, Southern Sudanese Civilians should not suffering again at this time. We need our Southern Sudan civilians to stay healthy. By the way, “who is able to redeem us”? The only solution for Southern Sudanese people is to join the North. There is no Government in the South. Looting, dwindling or embezzling of money and lack of management is the key fundementals which are affecting the Southern Sudanese Civilians.

    Famious_logic_boy,

When a dog steal some food in a container, it just squeezed its head properly to get the smelly food, but when the dog heard the foot steep, its just want to jump up and down running thinking that it will throw away that container;eventually, it will end up being killed because he can not see someone who want to spear it.

I absolutely know that you are like dog who put it head on the container attempting to get food in the container.

Why your mind is so narrow like this about corruption, food, money, and be the number one enemy lover(DC).

Please ,you will be kill while your head get stuck in the container. Thanks

    Dear readers,

The case of Malnutrition and STDs in Lakes State shall be treated as soon as possible. Last month a caretaker Governor issued a letter of prohibiting some food items all over the state due to starvation face by the community of Lakes state.

Solution to these issues will come with time, I strongly discourage those ladies/girls who commit abortion when they feel that they are pregnant.
