Sudanese presidential adviser appears amid reports of resignation

May 15 2011 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudanese presidential adviser Ghazi Salah Al-Deen Al-Attabani held two meetings today with foreign officials amid reports that he has quietly submitted his resignation.

Sudan official news agency (SUNA) said that Al-Attabani met with the visiting Hungarian foreign minister and the Japanese special envoy for Africa.

This is the first official appearance for Al-Attabani in several weeks.

In both meetings, the Sudanese official discussed bilateral ties as well as the status of the Darfur peace process and the government’s vision for ending the eight years conflict.

Al-Attabani is the top Sudanese official in charge of the Darfur dossier.

Multiple sources told Sudan Tribune this week that the presidential adviser asked to be relieved from his duties but it was not clear if his boss president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir accepted his resignation.

A source close to Al-Attabani said that the latter is unhappy about the progress of his domestication strategy to end Darfur conflict through development and resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

He also pointed out that the presidential adviser is wary about the NCP’s slow response to growing political discontent in the North ahead of the South’s secession next July.

Oop! Bashir boys will be finished by ALi Nafi. Mark my word, the next one will be Ali Osman. He can either be fired or forced to resign. Be careful northerners because the NCP is going to fuck up your country more if you all don’t wake up and force them to leave the power.

The end of Omar al Bashir is coming very soon. You can laugh or make a fraud for April election but certainly, the days for Khartoum government and NCP will fall shorly for sure.

The indictment Omar al Bashir has been trying to be very arrogant when he get indicted however, Omar al Bashir did feel now that, his case could be worst than, he was supposedly to turned himself to the ICC Judges. If you were in NCP of Omar al Bashir probaly you are in trouble and there will be no place to hid yourself but to go hell.

Since the Libyan president got in to unrest, I have never seen Omar al Bashir laughing any more because things are coming to the point so why not telling South Kordofan governor that, you better to give up governorship otherwise both Omar al Bashir will be caught alive or hiding just like the Libyan president it is not joke.
