President Omer al-Bashir Wednesday reconciled between the Governor of North Kordofan Ahmed Haroun and Commander of the Rapid Support Militia (RSF) Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, (aka Hametti).
Hametti had accused Haroun of tarnishing the image of the RSF militia four years ago when he expelled his victorious elements who crashed a rebel attack in the South and North Kordofan states.
“Ahmed Haroun should be tried and his place is in prison, not the state government,” said Hamettii during a TV talk show on 9 October 2018 .
Following a meeting with al-Bashir at the Guest House in Khartoum, the Sudanese presidency released picture of the two men shaking hands with al-Bashir in the middle of them.
