IMF to reopen Sudan office
KHARTOUM, June 11, 2005 (SUNA) — The director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) office in Cairo arrived Saturday in Khartoum to complete the procedures of reopening the IMF office in Sudan.
A source at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy told SUNA that the director is to complete the procedures of reopening the office before the arrival of resident representative of IMF in Sudan.
He expected that the Office will play a vital role in the relation between the fund and Sudan, debts issue and provision of technical aid to Sudan.
