No amendment yet to the Sudan National elections law: NCP official
January 6, 2010 (KHARTOUM) – A senior official in the ruling National Congress Party today denied reaching any agreement with the Sudan People Liberation Movement (SPLM) on amending the national elections law.
The political Secretary of the ruling party Ibrahim Ghandour was quoted by Sudan official news agency (SUNA) as responding to reports that both parties agreed on increasing the number of seats allocated to the ex-Southern rebel group.
Ghandour said that this proposal requires review and dialogue with the SPLM and other political powers. He revealed that discussions are still ongoing at this point stressing that no accord was accomplished.
The purpose of this amendment was to overcome objections raised by the SPLM over the census results that will be used to determine the geographical constituencies. South Sudan considers the census conduced in April 2008 as understating their numbers and called for using the 1956 figures to be used.

If NCP failed to amend the National electorial does not stop our declearation as independent state.It is hard for human to live in the same house with vulcher.For what ever means these devil NCP try to bring tension and failure of Referendum we are ready to declear Southern Sudan as independent country by all means.
