Head of Sudan delegation for eastern talks meets Salav Kiir
June 13, 2006 (KHARTOUM) — First Vice President, Salva Kiir, has got acquainted with the preparations for the negotiations between the government and the Eastern Front, scheduled to begin Tuesday in the Eritearian capital, Asmara.
Salva Kiir received the Advisor of the President and chairman of the government delegation to the negotiations with the Eastern Front, Mustafa Osman Ismail, at the Republican Palace, in presence of Yasir Arman, a member of the delegation.
The First Vice President expressed his optimism about the success of the session of negotiations.
Meanwhile, Ismail said that he gave a report to the First Vice President about members of the delegation as well as the agenda and issues of the negotiations.
The Sudanese government delegation to the eastern Sudan peace talks includes also SPLM’s Malek Hagar, the Minister of Investment.
