SSUDA party ousts David de Chand over leadership struggle
This press release is a continuation to our previous press release, dealing with the clean up within SSUDA political party, about its said leadership’s reshuffle or election; however, the following few points will serve the purpose:
1- As I mentioned in our previous press release that nothing had happened at all since the chairman and the party’s convention both were absent. As we have agreed to set an example, in laying down a democratic foundation, those guys should have respected their own words and promises because if they can not respect and trust their own words, then, whom do they think will do so? And it does not sound responsible, to call others to do what you can not even do yourself. And for the democratic foundation to be laid down it takes dignity courage, sacrifices, and reputation, therefore, it must be only achieve and realized by the people who deserve it and not anything else.
2- And for that matter, there is no way to tolerate such jokes, therefore administrative measures has became imperative for the well of SSUDA party and its members; therefore, Prof. David De Chand is hereby dismissed from the SSUDA party’s membership and from all its functions permanently with effect from October 10, 2006, because he is more harmful than worthy by being “unpredictable” a character, which is, not acceptable at all, in any leadership level, leave a lone to be a leader of an organization. And I am sorry to say this because I have been pushing hard with him together. But has destroyed that by betraying our cause (that is unfortunate fact); while it is too shameful for him to defame our leaders’ names as “African Neo-colonialists” who make coups and declare themselves, chairmen and presidents for life “miss-governance” and that practice has destroyed the African continent and the black person’s image world wide; when we do even worst than themselves;.
3- There is nothing that Prof. David De Chand can not do as a vice chairman of the SSUDA political party because he has led all the party missions abroad and at home, Prof. David is even aware that I have enrolled myself as a full time student in Minnesota, USA (Anoka Ramsey community college) to study civil engineering, a life time dream that I must fulfill, after normalization of my political activities; and that can not allow me to be an active politically, within coming three years. In addition, Prof. Chand was about to go to Sudan, for political campaign after our party registration in Khartoum. He can present himself until the first convention if the motive was to be a leader, which I doubt very much.
Finally, we are all volunteers, who deserve respect, regardless of how much we have to contribute, and being volunteers should be guided by principles, reputation, commitment, honesty and being persistent to democracy, freedom, justice and equality. However, what had happened it is too provocative, which is, unacceptable at all, whatever the cost; “because vision is not made but it is born”. That mean to say, that leaders are not made but they are born. Then, humbly and surely we are holding on unwavering ground, since we have managed to swim against the most strongest current, which is this tricky peace, until the time has told everyone with a piece of sane mind, that something must be wrong. That mean, we have regained our credibility. With the same manner it is not going be difficult for us to hold out until this dune mountain is washed away by the truth.
